SALYL Foundation rescued Indian migrant workers stranded in Dubai with no job and money.

Agents duping innocents looking for blue collar jobs outside the country is not new. Inspite of labour laws being so stringent in the countries, they send them with incomplete documentation and no work permit and force them to work on tourist/visit visa.

We urge you, to guide people around you, to accept such job offers only if:
- OFFER LETTER
- WORK PERMITS/EMPLOYMENT VISA
is provided before they leave their home country and check its validity. Its time we spread awareness about this matter and save innocent lives.

भारत के सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने महिला उम्मीदवारों को राष्ट्रीय रक्षा अकादमी (एनडीए) प्रवेश परीक्षा देने की अनुमति दी है और कहा है कि पूर्ववर्ती नीतिगत निर्णय लैंगिक भेदभाव पर आधारित था।

हमें यह देखकर खुशी होती है कि समाज महिला अधिकारों के प्रति संवेदनशील होता जा रहा है। हमें "महिलाओं की नौकरी" और "महिलाओं को ऐसी चीजें नहीं करनी चाहिए" की मानसिकता को बदलने की जरूरत है।

लैंगिक असमानता की इस निराशाजनक वास्तविकता से छुटकारा पाने के लिए हमें बस चौतरफा प्रयासों की जरूरत है।

The Supreme Court of India has allowed women candidates to take National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance exam and termed that the erstwhile policy decision was based on gender discrimination.

We are happy to see that the society is getting sensitive towards women rights. We need to change the mindset of “women’s jobs” and “women should not do such things”.

We just need all-round efforts to get rid of this dismaying reality of gender disparity. 👮‍♀️🖖
