AANTEEKA is a not-for- profit organization Comprised of a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, Social scientist and development workers who came together to undertake impressionable, challenging and exemplary intervention focused on vulnerable & impoverish segment of our society. In 1999 AANTEEKA was registered under Indian Trust Act- 1882 and subsequently under 12A, 80G of Income Tax
Act 1961 and FCRA Act – 1976 under Ministry of Home Affairs in 2001. Since then, AANTEEKA had worked hard for the most oppressed, unorganized and consistently exploited people of the regions. It now has spread its activities to 3 districts of Santhal paragana namely Deoghar, Dumka, Jamtara covering 6 Blocks, 15 Panchayats and 225 villages. AANTEEKA is involved in all-round develop-ment of Handicraft Artisans by upgrading their skills through appropriate design and techno-logical intervention. It also networked with artisans for self sustainability and preparing marketable products including well-organized marketing opportunity. AANTEEKA is very much obliged and thankful to the following National/ International collaborator and development partners whose financial and technical support had made our dreamed mission possible and a reality. Er. Mukesh Kumar, SECRETARY of the organization is a development professional With 24 years of experience in rural development. Soon after having the degree of B. Tech. in CIVIL Engineering from a reputed institution M.I.T., Muzaffarpur, Bihar in 1987, he took the decision of serving the deprived masses rather than to run after the personal achievement and benefits
He worked for several years in social sector with NGOs of International fame in order to get familiar with the social action and sprit of voluntarism. During this period, he received various trainings and orientations on sustainable agriculture, Natural Resource Management, SHG promotion, gender sensitivity, organization Development, participatory strategic planning (PSP) and many more. He possesses a long and dependable experience of successful implementation of variety of rural development activities. Ultimately he confined and focused his actions, efforts, and endeavor to the Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand state - in view to serve the people and hard –core poor whom he felt and experienced right from his childhood and onwards. Thus Since 1999 onwards he has solely been associated with AANTEEKA and its activities
