🌍 World Environment Day Celebration 2026 🌱

Together, we took a step towards a greener tomorrow.

On 20th June, MILESTONE Organisation, in collaboration with Vishwa Yuwak Kendra, celebrated World Environment Day with over 80 children and youth, creating awareness about climate change, tree conservation, and environmental responsibility.

🎁 Prizes and refreshments for all participating children

The event inspired young minds to care for nature through creativity, learning, and collective action. A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, guests, and every child who made this celebration meaningful.

On 26th May 2026, our children from Milestone NGO were back for Day 2 of the "Joy of Safety – Spreading Awareness for Safe and Responsible Rides" Summer Camp at Harcourt Butler Senior Secondary School, New Delhi — organised by Delhi Traffic Police in collaboration with Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. 💛
🔹 64 children participated actively
🔹 Colour-coded T-shirts, caps & notebooks distributed
🔹 Interactive sessions on traffic rules & road safety by Delhi Police officers
🔹 Live CPR demonstration for emergency preparedness
🔹 Distinguished guests & ACP motivated the participants
🔹 Day concluded with refreshments & group photographs
Safety is not just a rule — it is a value our children are learning to live by. 🚸

🎨✨ “Joyful Learning & Bright Smiles!” ✨🎨

On April 10th, 2026, MILESTONE (NGO) partnered with the energetic students of
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women (IGDTUW) for a fun, creative session with our Pathshala children at Kali Bari Marg, Gole Market. 💙

The day was packed with laughter, art, and beautiful connections. To add to the joy, the visiting students gifted drawing books, crayons, pencil kits, and treats to our little artists! 🖍️🍬

A huge thank you to the IGDTUW team for their wonderful initiative, and to our core team for making this day a massive success. 🙌

🔴 "Breaking the Silence, Period!"🩸

On May 30th, MILESTONE Organisation, in collaboration with Vishwa Yuva Kendra and FANSA, celebrated "World Menstrual Hygiene Day" in Sagarpur, Delhi! 🌟

We brought together 100+ Anganwadi workers, community women, and adolescent girls for a day of empowerment and education.

Key Highlights:
*💬 Open Conversations & Biology: Ms. Chinky Gupta and Ms. Sadaf Faisal kicked off the day breaking down period biology and essential hygiene.
* 🧘‍♂️ Health & Myth-Busting: Mr. Manish Sharma (President, MILESTONE & Padman of Delhi) shared vital tips on nutrition, yoga, and shattering deep-rooted taboos.
* 💡 Expert Guidance: Special guest Ms. Poonam ji (Supervisor, ICDS, WCD) provided invaluable insights.
* 🎨 Creativity in Action: Youth leaders showcased powerful themed paintings and awareness posters.

We wrapped up the day by proudly joining the " " to smash period stigmas, distributing biodegradable sanitary pads, and sharing refreshments! 🌱✨

"Small Steps, Big Impact: The Anganwadi Hub Centre Awareness Session"

Team MILESTONE conducted an informative session at Anganwadi Hub Centre on 23rd March with the help of Anganwadi workers who supported us in all ways.

A better, smarter Kirti Nagar 🏡💙
The following topics were discussed:
🌱 Significance of child care during their early age and proper hygiene among women.
🏠 Creation of secure houses and POCSO, Good touch, and Bad Touch.
💻 Being secure in cyber space and intelligent application of AI technology.

The session was all about learning together, asking questions, and feeling more confident. 💛
A big shout-out to our Anganwadi workers. 🙏

"Voices That Matter: A Communication Skills Session"

A fun-filled and interactive session on life skills related to communication was organized on 11 February 2026 with the participation of some passionate interns from Aditi Mahavidyalaya, University of Delhi. 💫

There were over 20+ girls who participated actively in *How the power of communication can help in boosting confidence, building relationships, and nurturing development* that allowed them to:
🗣️ Speak confidently
👂 Listen effectively
🤝 Make meaningful connections
✨ Develop themselves through improved communication skills

This made the session extremely engaging and meaningful. Great job done by our enthusiastic interns! 💛

"Knowledge is the ultimate shield: A Session on Child Protection"

At MILESTONE, we believe that awareness isn’t just information—it’s empowerment. On March 18, 2026, we took a significant step toward a safer future by hosting a Child Protection Awareness Session for adolescent girls.

Led by the insightful Mrs. Madhuri from the District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), New Delhi, the session equipped over 20 young girls with the tools they need to navigate the world with confidence.

The Highlights:
🚫 Identify: Recognizing the different forms of abuse.
🗣️ Speak: Breaking the silence and reporting without fear.
📞 Connect: Learning to use the 1098 Childline and trusted support systems.
🛡️ Protect: Understanding personal boundaries and child rights
