We are honoured to welcome Dr. P. K. Mishra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, Government of India, who will grace and address the Inaugural Session of the International Conference on “Sustainable Energy Transition”, to be held on 29–30 January 2026 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi.
Dr. Mishra’s inaugural address will set the strategic context for India’s clean energy transition, reflecting the Government of India’s long-term vision on climate action, energy security, and sustainable development, and will provide valuable guidance to policymakers, regulators, industry leaders, and global stakeholders participating in the Conference.

📢 MoU Signed Between IRADe and MoSPI
We are delighted to announce that IRADe has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Statistics & Programme Implementation (MoSPI) on 19th November 2025.
📝 The MoU marks IRADe’s engagement to undertake a research project on developing a Natural Resource Accounting Framework under MoSPI’s Grants-in-Aid scheme.
🤝 The MoU was formally signed byvProf. Jyoti Parikh, Executive Director, IRADe and Shri Shivnath Singh Jadawat, Director, MoSPI. The signing took place at the MoSPI office in the presence of senior officials.
🌱 This partnership marks a significant step towards fostering research, and paving the way for impactful contributions in the fields of
• Climate change,
• Environment statistics,
• Sustainable development.
We were also privileged to discuss our future research pathways with Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, MoSPI. Dr. Garg has been leading the reform process of the Indian Statistical System and we are excited to work together towards filling the existing data gaps at the Centre and the State level.
