Shri Shankar Shikshayatan Shri Shankar Shikshayatan is a premier Institute of Vedic Research. Shankar Shikshayatan offers research fellowships to work on Vedic studies.

Shri Shankar Shikshayatan was setup with the belief that the study of vedas undertaken with humility and without prejudice or arrogance could advance the human quest to discover the truth of all truths. Shri Shankar Shikshayatan is an independent institute established in 2000 by Rishi Kumar Mishra for undertaking research in Vedic studies and disseminating Ved Vignana (Vedic knowledge) to a wider

audience of scholars, thinkers and philosophers. In this effort, Shankar Shikshayatan is dedicated to reigniting interest in the repository of wisdom contained in Vedic texts and works of various scholars who, otherwise, have remained in the shadows of anonymity. As a beginning, the institute has initiated a project to encourage study and exposition of the important works of Pandit Madhusudan Ojha and Pandit Motilal Shastri, both outstanding Vedic scholars of the 20th Century. The institute is currently engaged in translation of reference books and various works of the two abovementioned scholars.
