Faculty of Humanitarian Medics (FHM)
The Faculty of Humanitarian Medics (FHM) is one of the specialist faculty associations of the International University of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (IUBC)—the University for Humanity. The Faculty has been established to educate, train, certify, and develop humanitarian medical professionals who are committed to protecting life, reducing suffering, and delivering emergency healthcare services to vulnerable populations affected by disasters, emergencies, conflicts, epidemics, and humanitarian crises.
The International University of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent (IUBC) serves as the humanitarian education and capacity-building institution of the Blue Cross & Blue Crescent Movement, dedicated to promoting humanitarian knowledge, practical skills, professional excellence, and international cooperation in support of communities worldwide.
The Faculty of Humanitarian Medics serves as the University's global centre of excellence for humanitarian medicine, emergency medical response, disaster health management, community healthcare, medical education, and humanitarian medical leadership.
