At Saramati View Modern School, Kiphire, Nagaland. Students from classes 8 to 10 have participated the programme. Sensitised students on the harmful impacts of child marriage, child rights protection, the legal age of marriage, and the vital role of education.

On October 2nd, coinciding with Gandhi Jayanti. NGO Rahi in collaborate with Just Right for Children (JRC), celebrates Panchayat Day and OATH taking ceremony, All the District stakeholder and leaders from different organized join oath-taking ceremony in Noklak, Nagaland, to end child marriage. Supporting the national Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat campaign, community members pledged to prevent underage marriages, protect children’s rights, and support girls’ education across the district.

Noklak District NAGALAND-Panchayat Day and Oath Taking ceremony to End Child Marriage. On October 2nd—coinciding with Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary and Gram Sabha / Village Panchayat Day—NGO Rahi, in collaboration with the Just Right for Children (JRC) and local grassroots leadership, organized a community awareness drive and mass oath-taking ceremony aimed at eradicating child marriage. 
The initiative aligns with the national campaign to declare villages “Child Marriage-Free” (Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat), leveraging local governance to build long-term social resistance against under-age marriage.
