We haven't been very social over the last few years, as we've been busy working on our new centre; June 2018 was such an exciting month, moment and year...
A breakthrough year in fact !!
We finally relocated Bright Futures to a new building.
For the first time the children stood on a solid foundation, a granite tiled floor, donated by a local bussiness.

For the first time a proper wide staircase, for the little feet to climb up with ease !
First time a solid roof without the plaster falling on heads like in our old building.

A terrace yikee!! To play, to study in the winter sunshine.
A kitchen, two bathrooms, and our first purpose built nursery!!

The teachers have their own filing and work table. Again a first.
Purpose built storage....
A computer room, two classrooms and to complete it all a big hall.
A multi purpose space that shifts from open class rooms to functions and celebrations.

A safe haven, a community hub, an after school education centre, for the children of the Ghazipur slum and dairy.

A colourful space they can call their own, meet friends, study and play.
They are my first love, the children of Ghazipur. ❤️

The boys who are enrolling now for swimming lessons. The lessons are costing us rs1000 pet month per student. This is just the first batch of students. By the end of the month they will all be able to swim and then visit the pool regularly. I am only being able to do this because of support from friends
However to get all 100 students trained by the end of the year we are looking for rs 20,000 A month for our swim fund. Then it's followed with a life time of fun and positive activity for the kids.

Finally my dream of taking the girls from Bright Futures on a holuday came true. Being young ladies I took it upon my self to es**rt them it was the biggest adventure of my. Not only did i enjoy but I learnt a lot about sharing and caring and living in the moment...and so much more.
