LECIN

LECIN We are a non-profit organization, who help children find out their true potential through the tool of education and make a sustainable change in their lives.

Have you ever visited a slum? Have you seen a child there with his eyes full of dreams and joy? Well, most of you have. However, when our team got an opportunity to change their lives and help their dreams come true, they took a step. A step which is the most crucial one and the one focused on ground reality. We feel that the only way of doing well is doing good for others. This step marked the jo

urney of beginning of Let's Educate Children in Need (LECIN). As the name suggests, we aim to transform lives using education. Despite the universal belief of education being the key to success, millions of children in India remain uneducated or drop out after a while. Starting with a group of 10 children from low income communities, we set off our first steps. Our organisation is creating impact on several folds, we have run projects ranging from art, dance, yoga to computer literacy. We have seen the young minds grow in front of us and seen an impact which cannot be quantified. Our mission is to set the building blocks of a young mind right. We focus on helping children find out their true potential through the tool of education and make a sustainable change in their lives. We strongly believe that change will only happen when you, and the society you live in takes an equal part in the process of change and growth. Our team focuses on quality, integrity and teamwork. We are a team of like-minded people with one goal: making a difference through holistic development.

This is what the first two weeks of the new academic session in our Anganwadis look like!

We begin by welcoming new children, introducing them to the daily routine, and helping them feel safe and comfortable in the classroom.

At the same time, teaching are creating level-based learning for children who have moved a step ahead, ensuring that each child learns at their own pace.

Anganwadi classrooms offer rich and diverse experiences, with mixed-age groups and immense potential for learning and growth especially in these early years when brain development is at its peak.

Our educators and Anganwadi teachers are making sure that every child feels comfortable, engaged, and learns something new every day. 😊

Before a systemic shift happens at scale, it always begins with small changes inside classrooms.

In our work, we often feel the urgency to see big impact quickly. But over time, we are learning that real change is much quieter and much slower.

It looks like an Anganwadi worker stepping into the classroom and trying a new activity for the first time.

-> It looks like trying, failing, and trying again.

-> It looks like parents showing up for a graduation ceremony, feeling proud, and beginning to ask questions.

-> It looks like someone simply ensuring that classroom sessions happen on time.

These may seem like small moments. But this is where change begins.

Every systemic reform is built on these everyday shifts, when classrooms become a little more active, when teachers become a little more open, and when communities begin to care a little more about learning.

We may not always see the impact immediately but these small steps are what slowly build towards something much larger.

The last few days of the academic session 2025–26 are here 🌱

Over the past two weeks, our on-ground teams have been assessing the school readiness levels of children in Anganwadis who will soon transition to Grade 1.

These evaluations are incredibly important for us - they help us reflect on our approach, curriculum, and understand what worked well and what we need to improve.

We’re excited to share our learnings, challenges, and key achievements from this year very soon!

We’re also looking forward to a very special moment - our Graduation Day celebration on 28th March. Our little ones will be showcasing their learning journeys to their parents, and we can’t wait to witness this beautiful milestone unfold.

If you’d like to join us for the celebration, do let us know in advance.

DM for more details! 😊

Do you know that in many villages of India, Akshat : turmeric-coloured rice is traditionally given when inviting someone to an auspicious event?

It is a beautiful tradition, and today we had the chance to relive it.

Anganwadi teachers and ECE educators went into the community to invite parents and community members for आओ बचपन मनाएं festival.

They carried with them the sacred Akshat - turmeric mixed with rice and offered it as a respectful invitation.

This tradition holds deep cultural significance and has been followed for generations.

It was heartwarming to see how warmly the parents and community members welcomed this initiative.

Community members opened their homes and hearts offering chairs, mats, tables and even fans to support the festival.

More than support, it showed a strong sense of ownership from the community.

आओ बचपन मनाएं festival is special because it is not just about celebrating childhood. It is also about celebrating communities, Anganwadi teachers, ECE educators, and the collective power of people coming together to make childhood happier and healthier.

The festival will bring together community members, parents, teachers, government officials and other stakeholders - all those who play an important role in shaping a child’s early years.

It will be a space for celebration, dialogue and shared learning about how we can make Bachpan more joyful for every child.

We hope this festival becomes a new beginning for deeper community involvement with Anganwadis and primary schools.

We are very grateful to , an initiative by the EkStep Foundation, for being a wonderful partner in this journey.

We look forward to welcoming many of you on 14th March - come and celebrate Bachpan with us, and maybe even relive a little of your own childhood.

We are excited to introduce “आओ बचपन मनाएं” one of the first Early Learning Festivals in Gautam Buddha Nagar. 🌼

As the name suggests, this festival is a celebration of Bachpan (childhood) and all the beautiful experiences that shape it. At the heart of this celebration is play, and how play enriches children’s learning, imagination, and overall development.

Through this festival, we are not only celebrating childhood, but also recognizing the incredible work that our amazing Anganwadi teachers and women educators have been doing over the past year in Village Pachaytan to create joyful learning experiences for young children.

We warmly invite you to be a part of this special celebration. We are deeply grateful to our partners for their support in making this festival possible.

आओ बचपन मनाएं is a celebration by the community, for the community, powered by the enthusiasm and participation of the people of Village Pachaytan.

We will be sharing more details about the Learning Festival soon. Until then, save the date - 14th March 2026 🤗

Holi Celebrations at BharatRohan Srijan Kendra in Barabanki

This week, our children celebrated Holi in the most beautiful and meaningful way.

Children made their own natural colours using beetroot, turmeric, and spinach.
They listened to and enacted the story of why we celebrate Holi.

Enjoyed gujiyas together and experienced the joy of celebrating festivals as a community.

Festivals are truly special in our country - they bring stories, food, culture, and learning together in the most joyful way.

Wishing all of you a very Happy and Safe Holi!
