When the world is struggling with defining democracies across the globe. To address this unsurity,The South and East Asia foundation (SEAF) on 13th December 2021 organized a summit on the theme - the Global Perspective of Democracy and National Democracy Awards. South & East Asia Foundation is an independent forum that critically examines the problem faced by the country and tries to develop a coherent policy response. SEAF serves as a platform to bring together the leading Indian economists and policymakers to present the agenda of India’s overall reforms on international issues through its successfully organized conferences such as INDIA & BRICS, INDO- US SUMMIT, INDO CHINA SUMMIT, CLIMATE CONCLAVE etc.
The topics covered during the summit included democracy and how to detect that it is disrupted along with comparative loopholes in Indian and The US democracy. It presented the idea of how we should see the “Democracy Summit 2021”. The summit was quite insightful, and the audience went back informed about democracy to its true extent.
