Digital Literacy Workshop

As part of Project HER, we conduct Digital Literacy Workshops to help women confidently use technology in their personal, professional, and entrepreneurial lives.

The workshops focus on practical digital skills such as smartphone usage, internet safety, digital payments, online banking, social media, WhatsApp Business, email communication, online marketing, and accessing government and employment-related services.

Women are also guided on how to use digital platforms to promote their products, connect with customers, build an online presence, and explore new markets.
Workshop Outcomes

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

• Confidently use smartphones and essential digital applications.
• Access and navigate the internet safely and responsibly.
• Make and receive digital payments and understand basic online banking.
• Use WhatsApp and social media for communication, promotion, and business.
• Create and manage a basic digital presence for their products or services.
• Communicate professionally through email and other digital platforms.
• Identify and avoid common online scams, fraud, and cybersecurity risks.
• Access relevant government schemes, services, employment opportunities, and online resources.
• Use digital tools to reach customers beyond their local communities.

Benefits for Women

The workshop helps women:

• Build digital confidence and independence.
• Reduce barriers to accessing information, services, and opportunities.
• Promote and sell their products through digital platforms.
• Expand their customer base and explore new markets.
• Improve their ability to manage everyday financial transactions.
• Develop skills relevant to employment and entrepreneurship.
• Become more confident participants in the digital economy.
• Strengthen their financial and social independence.

Our Impact

Digital literacy is not just about learning to use technology—it is about creating access to opportunities.

Through Project HER, we aim to ensure that women have the skills, confidence, and digital tools needed to learn, earn, connect, and grow.

Every handwoven thread reflects dedication, culture, and generations of craftsmanship. By choosing handloom, we don’t just wear beautiful fabrics—we support sustainable livelihoods, preserve traditional skills, and empower local weaving communities.

Let’s honour the hands behind every weave and continue to promote ethical, sustainable, and handmade creations.

Happy National Handloom Day! 🇮🇳❤️

Project HER | Initiative ABHIMAN

Well Being Foundation is proud to launch Initiative ABHIMAN under Project HER—a movement to promote menstrual health, hygiene, dignity, and awareness for every girl and woman.

Through education, community outreach, capacity building, and access to menstrual hygiene products, we aim to break stigma, empower communities, and ensure no one is left behind.

Together, let’s build a future where periods are met with knowledge, confidence, and dignity.

Because every HER deserves health, dignity, and equal opportunities.
