9 Years of Hafiz Junaid Khan’s Martyrdom

On the 9th martyrdom anniversary of Hafiz Junaid Khan, his mother, Mrs. Saira Khatoon, and his brother, Qasim, visited the National Headquarters of the National Federation of Youth Movements (NFYM).

NFYM Chairman Masihuzzama Ansari and Secretary Syed Ahmed Ali handed over legal aid support, provided by Solidarity Youth Movement Kerala, to the family as part of ongoing efforts to assist them in their pursuit of justice. This support follows a recent visit by a delegation from Solidarity Youth Movement Kerala, including its President, Thoufeeq, and NFYM National Secretary, Shabeer C.K., to Hafiz Junaid’s family home in Haryana.

Despite the passage of nine years, the family remains steadfast in its legal struggle and continues to seek justice for Junaid. We stand in solidarity with them and reaffirm our commitment to supporting their pursuit of justice, dignity, and accountability.

Masihuzzama Ansari, Chairman, NFYM, will speak at a public dialogue on "Delimitation and the Question of Minority Representation" on Tuesday, 23 June, at 2:00 PM at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi, organized by India Against Unfair Delimitation.

A youth delegation led by Masihuzzama Ansari, Chairman of the National Federation of Youth Movements (NFYM), along with Adv. Asif Akram Khan, President of the Ideal Youth Movement, UP. Visited Lucknow University today to express solidarity with and extend support to the students who have been rusticated for raising questions before the university administration regarding the continuous increase in fees.

The students have been peacefully protesting for the last 18 days, yet the university administration has failed to respond to their concerns. The rusticated students include Prashant, Prem Shukla, and Ahmed Raza Khan.

The delegation met the protesting students and assured them of support in their democratic and constitutional struggle for affordable education and students’ rights.

IYM UP Secretary Afzal Khan, Adv. Rashid, Adv. Nofel, and youth activist Abdullah Shaheemi were also part of the delegation.
