The Naz Foundation India Trust

The Naz Foundation India Trust Naz has been working on HIV/AIDS & s*xual health issues since 1994, providing prevention, treatment, & advocacy programs for underserved populations.

The Naz Foundation (India) Trust is a New Delhi-based Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) working on HIV/AIDS and s*xual health issues since 1994. Through the years, Naz India has evolved to implement a holistic approach for combating HIV, involving prevention as well as treatment. Our focus is on reaching out to marginalized populations infected or affected by HIV to help reduce stigma, improve h

ealth, and empower families. We also aim to sensitize the general population to the prevalence of HIV, and to highlight issues related to s*xuality and s*xual health. We believe in using these key approaches in the battle against HIV/AIDS in India:
- rights-based approach to raising awareness
- unbiased, factual information on HIV and s*xual health
- quality care and support to people living with HIV

Naz India's programs include:
- a Care Home for 31 orphaned children living with HIV, the first in North India
- a Home-based Care Program, providing support to families living with and affected by HIV/AIDs, through medical and nursing care, psychosocial support, legal assistance and capacity-building lessons
- Capacity Building and Training Workshops for individuals and organisations on HIV/AIDS, s*x and s*xuality, and rights-based care giving
- Goal, a girls' empowerment programme implemented in Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai that uses sports and lifeskills education to provide opportunities for at-risk adolescent girls throughout India
- Counseling, Outreach, Medical Treatment, and Legal Services to the LGBT community
- Advocacy and Political Action supporting equal rights and protection for the LGBT community and those living with HIV/AIDS

Naz India is a registered charitable trust and is registered under the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act and can receive funds from both inside India and abroad. Our Care Home is supported primarily through donations. We hope that you will become part of our donor community and support our children with a financial contribution or in-kind donation. Your donation will help the Naz Care Home continue to provide quality care and support to our children.

When a person living with HIV is on effective treatment, their viral load becomes undetectable. That means the amount of HIV in their blood is so low that tests can’t detect it. With an undetectable viral load, HIV cannot be transmitted through s*x. That’s what U=U means: Undetectable = Untransmittable. But U=U depends on the person taking their meds consistently and getting regular viral load checks.

For personal medical guidance on HIV, U=U, or PrEP/PEP, it’s best to speak with a healthcare provider or s*xual health clinic who can advise based on your specific situation.

One such clinic is the Naz Clinic, it’s q***r affirmative and provides PEP and PrEP.
It operates on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 1 to 4 PM at A-86, East of Kailash, Delhi-110065.
In case of an exposure (need of PEP) kindly contact on 8800329176.

A child left outside a gate in 2000 became the start of something bigger. What began with one child grew into a home built on care, resilience, and love. Through every challenge, Naz Care Home chose dignity, hope, and humanity.

Today, Naz Care Home is more than a shelter. It is a community shaped by caregivers, supporters, children, and the vision of late Dr. Vijayan Gopalan. Thank you to everyone who helped create a place where every child is seen, valued, and loved.
