Aicwete Hence, AICWETE supports and networks with many small scale local NGOs and Community based organisation in reaching out to people across the country.

All India Confederation for Women Empowerment works with a vision to restore dignity of poorest of the poor by giving them opportunities and resources to raise their voices and make appropriate choice for creating a better world for themselves. One of the core beliefs of the organisation has been empowering through education and skilling to nudge people out of vicious cycle of poverty and make them socio-economically self-reliant. It is crucial because the diversity which Indian subcontinent juxtaposes in its entirety and the contextual needs of a development programme, creates a space for partnership with multiple groups/individuals/institutions to fulfill multifaceted development agenda of the country in a cohesive manner. Many a times the organisation has been receiving laurels due to its relentless efforts to leverage resources for supporting people/ institutions working at the grassroots and policy advocacy in favour of women and children.

Strengthening Workplace Safety Through Awareness and Capacity Building

The All India Confederation for Women's Empowerment Through Equity (AICWETE) proudly participated in the POSH Awareness cm Training Programme organised by the National Commission for Women (NCW), Government of India, on 17 July 2026 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The programme aimed to strengthen awareness and effective implementation of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (POSH Act).

The programme brought together representatives from government departments, educational institutions, private organisations, and civil society to promote a deeper understanding of workplace safety, legal compliance, and institutional responsibility. It also focused on strengthening the role of Internal Committees (ICs) and Local Committees (LCs) in ensuring fair and effective grievance redressal mechanisms.

The inaugural session was graced by "Smt. Vijaya Rahatkar", Hon'ble Chairperson, National Commission for Women, and "Smt. Annapurna Devi", Hon'ble Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of India. Their addresses reinforced the importance of creating workplaces founded on dignity, equality, and respect for every individual.

The interactive sessions provided valuable insights into the provisions of the POSH Act, inquiry procedures, rights of complainants and respondents, and best practices for building safe, inclusive, and gender-sensitive workplaces.
At AICWETE, we believe that women's empowerment extends beyond access to opportunities—it also requires safe, respectful, and equitable work environments where every individual can thrive without fear of discrimination or harassment.
