With the increase in the Student population of Assamese people in Delhi, the association formally got its motive to serve and unite all the assamese students in one r
oof. The year round activities and celebrations of Assamese festivals are mostly being organized by Assam Students Association Delhi.As it is the oldest of it kind when we talk about nort-east of India. Renowned people like Shri Podut Bordoloi (Coengress man of Assam, Former ASAD member),Late Mamoni Roisom Goswami (Social activist , Journelist, former HOD at Assamese Dept. Delhi Universirty, ASAD advisor)and Angarag Mahanto (Renowned singer, Former ASAD cultural secretory)showed all of us the way, now is the time to be united and march forward as one team.
