What you saw at the end was not who I am now.

𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗪𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵?

For most of my life, I spoke about everything except death.
Like many of us, I treated it as something distant… something meant for “later.”

That changed the day I lost someone I deeply loved.

In that moment, all the silence around death became unmistakably clear. I realised we never really learn how to hold grief, how to speak about endings, or how to make space for the emotions that follow.

𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 - 𝗪𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗱!!

➡️Afraid of the unknown.
➡️Afraid of losing control.
➡️Afraid of confronting how fragile and precious life really is.

But walking through my own loss shifted something in me.

It taught me that avoiding death doesn’t protect us — it only isolates us.

And the moment we begin talking about it, gently and honestly, death becomes less of a shadow and more of a teacher.

✅It shows us the truth of our connections.
✅It shows us how deeply we can love.
✅And it asks us to live with more presence, softness, and gratitude.

Through Talks About the Inevitable, I’ve learned that conversations about death are not morbid — they are liberating.

🕯️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐰 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡?

It’s a question that stirs both fear and wonder.
For many, it feels unknowable — hidden behind the veil that separates the living from what lies beyond.

But for those who’ve had near-death experiences, or who’ve sat at the bedside of the dying, certain patterns begin to emerge. These early moments — just after the final breath — are often described with surprising clarity and calm.

✨ The mind slows down.
✨ The body softens, as if releasing a long-held burden.
✨ And then, a stillness. But not an absence — a presence.

In many stories, there's something more:

==> A sensation of rising out of the body.
==> A feeling of floating above the room, watching loved ones grieve.
==> Encounters with a brilliant light. A voice. A familiar presence.
==> Sometimes, a reunion with those who had already passed on.

Across cultures and centuries, these themes repeat — not as folklore, but as deeply personal accounts shared by those who have touched the edge and returned.

𝑆𝑜 𝑤ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑤𝑒 𝑡𝑜 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑖𝑡?

Is this the brain’s final electrical flicker before shutting down?
Or the soul beginning its return to where it came from?

Science may still be asking. But the human spirit — in grief, in loss, in moments of grace — often seems to know.

𝕄𝕒𝕪𝕓𝕖 𝕕𝕖𝕒𝕥𝕙 𝕚𝕤𝕟’𝕥 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕖𝕟𝕕.

💬 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗢𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗧𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗠𝗲

I lost my dad in April 2020.
The following year, in April 2021, I lost my brother.
With my father, I was somewhat prepared — I had seen him age.
But my brother was 42 when he left, and I was completely unprepared.

Two back-to-back losses — and along with them, a deep and irreversible shift within me.

Because the death of loved ones teaches you things no book or course ever could.

Foremost, it teaches you this: 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙧𝙮.
And by everything, I mean your dreams, your ambitions, your grudges, your regrets… even your future plans.

It teaches you that all the complaints didn’t matter.

𝙏𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙙, 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧.

That the time is now. Only ever now.

𝗜𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲:
==> No matter how much science or technology advances, 𝘪𝘵 𝘤𝘢𝘯’𝘵 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦.
==> And we never truly know when that moment will arrive.

So now is the best time to plan that trip.
Now is the best time to say “I love you.”
Now is the best time to say what’s been on your heart.

It taught me that:
✅ The words you didn’t say echo louder than the ones you did.
✅ Silence can hold more connection than conversation.
✅ Presence is the most valuable currency. Your attention is the greatest gift.
✅ Love doesn’t end when life does.
✅ And we carry the essence of those we lose — in our actions, our memories, our quiet moments.

We often say “life is short,” but loss makes that real in your bones.

I’m not sharing this for sympathy — but to honor the invisible ways grief transforms us.

Ever wondered "Why do the deceased loved ones appear in dreams"?

Many spiritual traditions and individuals believe that dreams are a portal between realms and our deceased loved ones channelize this portal to interact with us.

The appearance of deceased loved ones in dreams is a powerful and emotional experience and can help us in many ways.

- They visit us to let us know that "YOU" are loved and not left unsupported.
- They help you to resolve unaddressed griefs and traumas.
- They come to comfort us and help us release our pain.
- At times, they carry a message for you - to caution or pre inform or simply remind you that you are on the right track!!
- They want you to know that they are at peace. 🤯
- Such dreams serve as a reminder that you are not forgotten, and that the bond that you shared with them is beyond all realms of life.

How do souls decide on the specific life lessons they want to learn, and do these lessons carry over into future lives?

Every experience that we do, as human being, whether good or bad is a lesson that the soul wants to experience. For the soul there is no good, no bad! Every experience that it has is teaching it something.

Let me simplify this for you. As a child you were given sweets to eat - toffees, pastries, candies, cakes etc. You were also given sour things to taste - buttermilk, citrus fruits. And you also tasted bitter by tasting bitter fruits and vegetables and some forms of medicines. With each such consumption you learnt what is meant by a taste called “Sweet” “Sour” or “Bitter” - irrespective of whether you like it or not.

Some people feel too uncomfortable to taste something bitter. On the other hand, some people are perfectly fine to eat anything bitter. That’s perhaps because they understand that bitter is part of their food and is essential for their well being. They accept the bitterness of the food as a temporary experience in order to gain something in the long run.

Same is lesson for life. As souls we choose our experiences in form of poverty/prosperity, various health conditions, good/bad relationships and various other situations like family, friends, work place etc. We choose to learn different emotions attached to these. Through these we learn patience, togetherness, drawing boundaries, finding true happiness, managing situations, Trusting Divine, letting go and opening up oneself to new opportunities. Last but not the least, loving oneself.

Whether these lessons will carry over to the next life or not depends completely on the choices you made while you are alive. Let me give you an example. Suppose, during this lifetime your soul agreed the lesson to be learnt as “How to be Courageous?” Do you think a soul that has agreed to learn a lesson like this will be given a plain ground to survive? With no challenges? With no road blocks? How will it learn how to be courageous then? The soul will be put into situations wherein there will be challenges/ obstacles and people surrounding who are constantly discouraging. Now, the soul gets two choices to make. In short, fight or flight - means 1. you can run away from the situation or 2. you can fight it out or take the challenge head on and work through it. If you run away - think it over - would your soul be able to learn the lesson you agreed to “How to be Courageous”. The answer is NO. But if you choose option 2 and work through it - the possibility of having learnt the lesson is quite high.

And if the lesson is learnt by heart - you do not need to repeat it. You are already a Pro!! :)

In 2020, I lost my father. He was nearing 80. In 2021, I lost my brother. He was 42 - but alive in all aspects of life. He travelled, made friends, drove his car, rode his bike, ate and tasted delicacies of all kinds and most importantly, he lived and created memories. The two consecutive deaths stirred me up deeply. At the same time, I was more than curious to know if there is something more beyond death and the loss that it contains. I researched. Learned and unlearned a lot of things around death and over the time, I have accepted death to be an extension of the life that we lived.

For me, dying is going to be like finally reaching the destination we all walked closer to while being alive. In my opinion, death will eventually be a milestone that will help me to evaluate if I lived well or not? If the journey so far, was really worth or not? Also, death will put me away from the body aches, the mental stress, the loans, the EMIs..LOLss. I feel it will also help me to value my presence on earth, my role in other people’s life and vice versa.

For handling death better, one needs to handle life better. Thinking about what you leave behind—your influence, memories, or work—can help create a sense of lasting value. Focusing on the present moment—mindfulness—can quiet the fear of death. Instead of obsessing over the end, it's about fully living while you're alive.
