Where on one hand We exchanged New Year Greetings with President Mr.Pranav Mukherjee on the other hand workshops were being organised in Rain Baseras and Orphanages. Whether it was a Hindu or a Sikh or a Muslim like our Auto Union head Shahabuddin everyone joined us in our effort to spread the Anuvrat Movement. Our Samiti itself comprises of varied personalities from different walks of life - where our President Dr.P.C.Jain is a University in himself.He is the Ex Principle of Sri Ram College of Commerce,an eminent educationist and is holding prestigious positions in many government Institutions too. Our Vice -Presidents Shri Shantilalji Patawari and Sri Kamal Bengani are both Experienced and Guide us through thick and thin.Dr.Kusum Lunia ,Secretary of Anuvrat Samiti Delhi needs no Introduction.She has authored many books on Social Issues and has done her doctorate in Jain life style.We have a young ,vibrant Team -Jojnt Secretary Srimati Lalita Mukim and Smt.Hansa Sancheti, and Treasurer CA Vivek Borad as well as our Organisation sec.Sri Dhanpat Nahata & Dissemination Sec smt Vijay laxmi Sharma. Where on one hand we have a dedicated ,focussed team on its toes every time ,on the other hand we have a Senior Gynaecologist providing her services to AIIMS, a Chief Security Officer working in the Parliament House ,etc. Needless to say our executive members may come from different religious background but have one committment towards Anuvrat Movement. Anuvrat Samiti Delhi beliefs that Anuvrat Movement can make an impact only when we work on ground Zero, when we interact with the people who really need us. This made us reach to the nook and corners of Delhi where nobody had thought that Anuvrat could reach.Our Anusandhan Kaaryashaalaes which we began as a pilot project was very successful and the results and reactions of the residents were overwhelming. The crux of the matter was that they needed an emotional healing and right guidance which anuvrat Samiti provided. This was our first step towards eradicating addiction and there are many more to come..
