18,900 Sanitary Napkins. 3 Schools. One Mission: Menstrual Dignity. 💚

AASRA Shiksha Samiti conducted a sanitary napkin distribution initiative across three government girls’ senior secondary schools in Delhi, reaching approximately 3,000 schoolgirls.

Our mission goes beyond distribution—it is about promoting menstrual hygiene, breaking stigma, and ensuring every girl can manage her periods with dignity and confidence.

Because periods should never be a barrier to education. 💚

People often ask, ‘What can you really earn by working with an NGO?’

We earned more than a salary.

We earned smiles, trust, confidence, opportunities, and the privilege of making a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

Because some achievements cannot be measured in money—they are measured in the lives we touch and the change we create.

This is what we earned by working with AASRA.

Some teachers teach us lessons.
Some teachers teach us life. ❤️

Behind every confident student is often a teacher who believed in them before they believed in themselves.
On this Teachers' Day, Aasra Shiksha Samiti celebrates and thanks every teacher whose patience, dedication and guidance continue to shape generations.

Happy Teachers' Day! 🌸📚

Growing up, most of us heard these 'rules' before we heard the facts. At Aasra, we believe education is how we end period shame — not silence. Save this for the next time someone repeats a myth. 🩸📚
