From Skill to Success – Project Ujjwal Transforming Electricians Across India.

Samaarambh Foundation with the CSR support of Orient Electric and partnership of Times of India has accelerated a powerful journey of impact-driven skill development programme - UJJWAL, a CSR initiative of orient Electric.

The first training session was successfully held today at the sacred Shri Pardeshwar Temple, Keshav Puram, New Delhi, home to the 151 kg Mercury Shivlinga, making the beginning of this initiative truly auspicious.

⚡ 102 electricians participated in the inaugural session, gaining insights into modern electrical technologies, safety standards, and advanced practices.

Through Project UJAWAL, we aim to train and certify 4,000+ electricians across Delhi, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Meerut, empowering them with upgraded skills, knowledge, and better livelihood opportunities.

We invite enthusiastic electricians to join this transformative journey of learning, growth, and professional excellence.

We are proud to announce that India’s energy giant ONGC has approved two new projects of Samaarambh — focused on restoring and supporting the affected villagers of Dharali, District Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand in collaboration with NDRF and the local administration.

“Education, Livelihood & Dignity: ShikshaRath 7.0 Lights Up India’s LOC Villages. ✨ Mission Accomplished – ShikshaRath 7.0 ✨

With the unwavering support of NHPC, Samaarambh Foundation successfully completed a one-year CSR project empowering 7 crucial border villages of LOC (near Pakistan). 🇮🇳

✅ 900+ students received essential learning resources
✅ 7 schools digitally upgraded with smart classrooms, computers & printers
✅ Sanitary vending machines & yearly pad supply for every village
✅ 900+ women from 27 SHGs empowered with handloom & sewing machines
✅ Skill workshops for tailoring & livelihood enhancement
✅ 5 households transformed into homestays for sustainable income

This initiative has earned praise from Ladakh’s administration and, more importantly, the blessings of border communities – proving that empowering lives also means strengthening our nation’s borders. 💪

Samaarambh Foundation’s Shikhsharath 7.0: Empowering Women in Ladakh! 🧵✨
We are thrilled to announce the successful conclusion of our flagship event, Shikhsharath 7.0, in the LOC area villages of the UT of Ladakh! This event was a significant step towards skill development and empowerment for the women in the region.

The event was graced by Shri Uttam Lal, Director (Personnel) of NHPC, as the Chief Guest, alongside the EC-LAHDC and various participants.

A special thank you to USHA International for their invaluable contribution. Their master trainers provided extensive training on sewing techniques, and the company generously presented sewing machines to the participants, empowering them to pursue sustainable livelihoods.

This initiative is a testament to the power of collaboration and community-driven development. Together, we are building a brighter future.

On the proud occasion of Bank of Baroda Foundation Day, Samaarambh Foundation joined hands with BOB to empower the bright young minds of MCD Primary School, C8 Keshav Puram, New Delhi.

Together, we gifted ceiling fans and sports kits to uplift the learning environment and bring smiles to the faces of 350 adorable children.
