Awam Welfare Organization (AWO Registration Number 34197) is involved in a number of social activities since 1st January 1999 i.e. 14 years with a view to taking care of the downtrodden and economically weaker sections of our society. AWO is very active in uplifting the lot of illiterate and poor women, children and old persons, especially belonging to the minority communities. In the past, we ha

ve successfully undertaken several projects that have directly helped a number of people. These projects include

Cutting Tailoring
Vocational Training like Sewing, Stitching, Mehndi, Beautification and embroidery works;
Distribution of sewing machines and school uniforms;
Distribution of relief materials to people affected by such natural calamities as earthquakes, floods, fire, etc. The aim of Awam Welfare Organization is to educate and train the economically weaker sections of the society, in particular women, so that they may earn a living without being dependent on others. Illiterate women feel very weak and insecure and develop many complexes, which affect their abilities and skills. Instead of being a partner in building a family, they become a burden on both their families as well as the society. AWO aims to make such women feel secure and self-reliant through training and education so that they may utilize their inherent talents and successfully play their natural role of building a healthy and happy society. In the near future, we plan to initiate a number of important projects that are essentially tailored to make illiterate and poor women stand on their feet and independently make a living for themselves through vocational training, coaching and education. In our next project, we intend to set up a Vocational Training Center where training and education will be imparted to economically backward women and grown-up girls in several areas that include the following:

Adult Education in English, Hindi, Math’s and various other subjects. Tutorial classes for examinations up to XII standard
Coaching classes for various entrance examinations
Computer Education
Typing
Tailoring, Stitching and Embroidery
Textile Designing
Cooking and Bakery
Basket and Flower Making
Beautician
Drawing and Painting

Other than this we have already very well going on school named Ascent School.one in old Delhi and second in U.P.rural area. Its a primary school now but we hope to raise it till higher levels slowly & gradually. This school specially aim at the fees. As the fees is such a nominal amount but with a quality education.
