All India Citizens' Alliance for Progress & Development (AICAPD) - a national level NGO – having its headquarters in New Delhi has been working towards the upliftment of children of economically and socially underprivileged and backward people since 2003. AICAPD has especially been concentrating on the upliftment of children of migrant construction labourers and field workers. These illiterate and unskilled migrant labourers live a nomadic life which deprives them of a consistent livelihood and permanent habitat. Their children are left to their own devices all day long as the parents go to work which makes them vulnerable to drug addiction, human trafficking and social abuse. Ultimately, these children remain unskilled all their lives and become hereditary labourers, in general. AICAPD’s prime objective is to set up INNOVATION MOBILE SCHOOLS, INNOVATION NIGHT SCHOOLS, INNOVATION MODEL SCHOOLS and INNOVATION MOBILE LIBRARIES which will target the children of deprived sections of the society all over the country.

AICAPD and its health initiative ‘Doorstep Mobile Health Clinic for 6000 Migrant labour’:
AICAPD signs MOU with Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), Ministry of Petroleum, Govt. of India to address the urgent healthcare needs of the migrant labourers and their children in slums in Gurugram. The project to provide doorstep preventive, curative and promotive health awareness facilities in slum communities spread throughout the city outskirts parts which have been identified as the most downtrodden areas.
Mr. Vivek Awasthi, GM- CSR, EIL , Mr Sahil Kapoor, Manager, EIL signed the MOU on behalf of EIL at EIL headquarters in New Delhi.
The project will cover a population of 6000 migrant labour in slum locations in far flung areas in the city including Greater Gurugram

Payal (11 years) is a migrant girl from Rajasthan, she came to Millennium city Gurugram with parents and 3 siblings four years ago. She used to beg on traffic lights near Hong Kong bazaar in sector 52 to support her family who barely make ends' meet.

Payal is not alone in the city who take up odd jobs or beg on the streets to support their families, they have been deprived of basic education which is a fundamental constitutional right.

AICAPD- Innovation Mobile school, School Aapke Dwaar changing the life of many such children through their unique doorstep education model.

Payal along with many such children is now studying at Innovation Mobile school.

AICAPD is working for education of children of migrant labour. Educating the most vulnerable groups; children of migrant construction labour, rag pickers, child beggars etc. at their doorstep. Presently 650 such children are being imparted with free education through Innovation Mobile School project at seven different locations in Gurugram. It would not have been possible to reach out to them without your valuable and continued support. We are thankful to you and looking forward to your continued support for the cause.

AICAPD is providing nutritious meal to the vulnerable children who either beg at different red lights in the Millennium city or pick up rags. Their families earn little to no income hence their daily nutritional requirement is not fulfilled which affects their growth and study as well. The unique initiative 'School Aapke Dwar' is reaching daily in a customized solar powered equipped Bus at the doorstep of these vulnerable children and providing them with quality education and nutritious food.
