All India Citizens' Alliance for Progress & Development (AICAPD) - a national level NGO – having its headquarters in New Delhi has been working towards the upliftment of children of economically and socially underprivileged and backward people since 2003. AICAPD has especially been concentrating on the upliftment of children of migrant construction labourers and field workers. These illiterate and

unskilled migrant labourers live a nomadic life which deprives them of a consistent livelihood and permanent habitat. Their children are left to their own devices all day long as the parents go to work which makes them vulnerable to drug addiction, human trafficking and social abuse. Ultimately, these children remain unskilled all their lives and become hereditary labourers, in general. AICAPD’s prime objective is to set up INNOVATION MOBILE SCHOOLS, INNOVATION NIGHT SCHOOLS, INNOVATION MODEL SCHOOLS and INNOVATION MOBILE LIBRARIES which will target the children of deprived sections of the society all over the country.

AICAPD and its health initiative ‘Doorstep Mobile Health Clinic for 6000 Migrant labour’:
AICAPD signs MOU with Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), Ministry of Petroleum, Govt. of India to address the urgent healthcare needs of the migrant labourers and their children in slums in Gurugram. The project to provide doorstep preventive, curative and promotive health awareness facilities in slum communities spread throughout the city outskirts parts which have been identified as the most downtrodden areas.
Mr. Vivek Awasthi, GM- CSR, EIL , Mr Sahil Kapoor, Manager, EIL signed the MOU on behalf of EIL at EIL headquarters in New Delhi.
The project will cover a population of 6000 migrant labour in slum locations in far flung areas in the city including Greater Gurugram
