POCSO Act (पॉक्सो कानून) का पूरा नाम Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 है।

यह कानून 18 वर्ष से कम उम्र के बच्चों को यौन अपराधों से सुरक्षा देने के लिए बनाया गया है।

इसमें यौन शोषण, यौन उत्पीड़न और बच्चों से संबंधित अश्लील सामग्री जैसे अपराध शामिल हैं।

बच्चों की पहचान और मामले की सुनवाई के दौरान उनकी गोपनीयता व सुरक्षा का विशेष प्रावधान है।

मामलों की सुनवाई के लिए विशेष POCSO अदालतों का प्रावधान है।

अपराध की गंभीरता के अनुसार कड़ी सजा का प्रावधान है।
