Blind Welfare Society is a registered non-government voluntary Organization. It was founded to undertake various projects in the field of Education, Employment, Training, and Rehabilitation for the people with visual challenges. Since inception, Blind Welfare Society meaningful initiatives have bagged various accolades in its shelf. Empowering visually impaired girls was one of the prime objective

s behind establishing the Blind Welfare Society as there is a dearth of organizations working for the betterment of visually impaired girls in India. We affirm that visually impaired young girls and women are more vulnerable and thus need extra support. It is our endeavour to create an environment where the lack of money or opportunities does not make blind girl’s situation worse. Blind welfare society strongly resents any action which could show the visually impaired people as disabled. Blindness is just the physical loss of eyesight, nothing more. Blind people are like everyone else, and can be expected to perform on a par. BWS has a crucial role to play in creating a world where there are no barriers to people with sight loss. We strive to increase the independence, access to education, equal opportunity, social security and quality of life for people with vision loss. We have continued to expand our programs and services to meet the needs of the community we serve.

At the Blind Welfare Society, we remain committed to supporting individuals and families through meaningful community assistance programs, and we are pleased to share that Kumar has received essential grocery support through our free grocery distribution initiative.
Access to basic necessities plays an important role in promoting dignity, stability, and well-being. This support has been made possible through the generous contributions of our donors, well-wishers, and volunteers, whose continued commitment enables us to reach those who need assistance most.

We are delighted to share that the Blind Welfare Society has provided a laptop free of cost to Karina Kumari, a bright and determined young woman with blindness who is pursuing her graduation at University of Delhi.
Receiving the laptop, Karina expressed her happiness, saying, “Now I can study independently, complete my assignments, and move forward with confidence.”
For many, a laptop may be just a device, but for Karina, it represents independence, dignity, accessibility, and the opportunity to achieve her educational goals on an equal footing with others.
This support will enable her to access study materials, attend online classes, complete academic work, and prepare for a brighter future through technology.
Blind Welfare Society remains committed to empowering persons with blindness through education, assistive technology, and opportunities for self-reliance. Together, we can ensure that no dream is limited by disability and that every individual has the tools needed to succeed.

A heartfelt and memorable day at our organization as we organized a special farewell for our students who are stepping into a new chapter of life.
The event was filled with beautiful songs, touching poems, and cherished memories that reflected the journey we have shared together. It was an emotional yet joyful occasion for everyone present.
We also handed over gifts to our students who are completing their courses and moving ahead in life. This small gesture carried our love, blessings, and best wishes for their future.
While saying goodbye is never easy, we are proud of each one of them and confident that they will achieve great success.
