On account of Children's day celebration🎉 we at Nirmal Anand planned a special tour for all our kids at the Aurobindo compacting station where our kids were imparted knowledge on waste segregation of garbage into wet, dry and hazardous waste. We are thankful 🙏to Ravi shakhiya supervisor SSIL for volunteering to educate our kids about waste segregation and waste management.
It was a very fruitful day where our kids took keen participation in distributing gloves 🧤to all SSIL helper bhaiyas and waste pickers as a token of appreciation and thanked them for their service to the community. Later we all enjoyed eating hot snacks😋 together.
MCD Sanitary Inspector Omkar sharma ji and ASI Jaipal Yadav ji of 150 ward Safdarjung enclave were also present who provided awareness about the Solid waste management laws where it's mandatory to follow segregation and if it's not followed then the offenders can be penalised.
It was a great exposure for our kids and they learnt a very good lesson which they will surely practice and help spread a word in their Hauskhas village community 💕💯
We are also planning to do Nukkad Natak in Hauskhas village community to reinforce waste segregation in due course of time.
