🌟 A Meaningful Learning Experience at Sarthak Global Resource Centre!

We were delighted to welcome students and faculty from Mount Olympus School to the Sarthak Global Resource Centre (SGRC) for an engaging and insightful learning experience focused on disability awareness, accessibility, and inclusion. 💙

Through interactive experiences at Vision in the Dark and the Ability Museum, students explored the everyday experiences of Persons with Disabilities and gained a deeper understanding of how accessibility, empathy, and inclusive thinking can create a more equal society.

The visit encouraged students to look beyond disability, understand different abilities, and recognise the importance of creating spaces where everyone can participate, learn, and thrive. 🌍♿

A meaningful visit becomes powerful when it creates understanding, empathy, and connection. We hope this experience inspires these young minds to become more aware, sensitive, and responsible citizens who champion inclusion in their communities. ✨

Manpreet's Journey: Turning Challenges into Opportunities

As 𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐙 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚 celebrates 𝟏𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭, we are proud to share the inspiring journeys of individuals whose lives have been transformed through our CSR initiatives.

Born with physical disabilities affecting both his arms and limited vision, 𝐌𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐤 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 has faced challenges that many of us can only imagine. Everyday tasks, mobility, and even pursuing his childhood dreams of becoming an automobile engineer and driving a car seemed out of reach. After completing his intermediate education, he encountered repeated job rejections, as many employers saw only his disability rather than his potential. Yet, Mitik refused to let adversity define his future.

His life took a positive turn when he joined 𝐒𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐤 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭, a CSR partner supported by 𝐒𝐔𝐄𝐙 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚. Through employability training, career guidance, and confidence-building sessions, he strengthened his communication skills, discovered his self-belief, and prepared himself for the world of work.

Today, Mitik is employed as a 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐃𝐑. 𝐈𝐓 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩, earning an annual salary of INR 1.44 lakh. More than a job, this opportunity has given him confidence, financial independence, and the ability to support his family with dignity.

As we celebrate a decade of impact, Mitik's story reminds us that 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. His journey reflects SUEZ Foundation India's unwavering commitment to empowering persons with disabilities, promoting inclusion, and enabling every individual to realise their full potential.
