The forum focused on “Delegate to Scale – Empower People, Grow Faster,” encouraging entrepreneurs to embrace effective delegation, empower their teams, and strengthen their businesses for sustainable growth.

The event also featured Market Connect, creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to build networks and explore new business avenues.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood successfully completed its Entrepreneurs Development Forum Engagement in on 26 August 2026, bringing together Erode Forum Members for an insightful and interactive session on Sales Strategy for Business Growth.

The forum provided a valuable platform for entrepreneurs to exchange ideas, learn from practical experiences and explore effective approaches to strengthening their sales functions in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Mr KM Shanmugaperumal, Vice Chairman, CII Erode Zone, and CEO, Ethical Paper Private Limited, interacted with the participants and shared his valuable insights and experiences on effective sales and marketing strategies. CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood, supported by NatWest, proudly showcased seven EDF entrepreneurs at the EDF Pavilion during Foodpro 2026, organised by Confederation of Indian Industry.

Visitors explored an exciting range of products including:

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood, in collaboration with CII Foundation and supported by TIIC, successfully organized a virtual mentor session on "Building Strong Customer Relationships for Business Growth" on 31 July 2026.

The session, led by Ms. R. Vanathi Soundaram, Incubation Manager, Solamalai Foundation for Startup Incubation, Madurai, provided entrepreneurs with practical tips and strategies to strengthen customer engagement and build lasting business relationships.

Participants explored key topics including:
- Customer loyalty and retention
- Conflict and complaint management
- Service recovery techniques
- Empathetic customer handling
- Active listening and communication skills
- Effective customer engagement strategies

Through interactive discussions and practical learning, entrepreneurs gained valuable insights to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sustainable business growth.

The CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood, in collaboration with CII Foundation and supported by NatWest, successfully organized a two-day Business Transformation Programme for Entrepreneurs in on 28-29 July 2026.

The programme enabled micro and small entrepreneurs to enhance their business skills through interactive sessions, expert guidance, networking opportunities, and practical learning experiences.

We were privileged to have Mr. S Lakshmanan, MLA, Salem West Constituency, address the participants and encourage them to apply their learnings to strengthen and grow their enterprises.

Entrepreneurs also benefited from valuable insights shared by industry leaders including Dr. Prabusankar, Mr. Boopalan P, Mr. N. Senthil Kumar, and Mr. V. Sudhakar.

Through such initiatives, CII CEL continues to support entrepreneurs by building knowledge, fostering connections, and promoting sustainable business growth.
