CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood with support from AG Growth International, hosted the first Entrepreneurs Development Forum Meet for the Micro and Small Entrepreneurs from and on 27 March 2026.

The Forum Meeting was attended by 26 Entrepreneurs from both the locations and were engaged in discussion around Leadership - Task and People.

The session focused on Leadership, covering key aspects such as effective task allocation, building high-performing teams, and applying leadership principles through practical examples and case studies.

Following the EDF session, a mentorship interaction was held with Dr. Dharma Pradad, Convenor – Industry Institute Panel, CII Mysuru; CEO & Chief Scientist, Prosetta Bioconformatics Pvt. Ltd.; and Founder & Director, Wow Presence.

During this engagement, entrepreneurs discussed their ongoing business challenges and received valuable insights and suggestions from Dr. Dharma Prasad. The entrepreneurs found the interaction very valuable very insightful and have requested for further engagements.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood conducted the first Odisha Entrepreneurs Development Forum meeting virtually on 26 March 2026, bringing together entrepreneurs for an engaging and insightful interactive session on “Pricing Canvas.” The session saw the participation of 45 entrepreneurs and focused on practical approaches to value-based pricing, understanding cost structures, assessing customer value, and strengthening competitive positioning. Participants gained actionable insights into aligning pricing strategies with market expectations while ensuring profitability.

The highly interactive nature of the forum encouraged open discussions, peer learning, and knowledge sharing. These exchanges enabled entrepreneurs to sharpen their pricing decisions, adopt strategic thinking, and enhance overall business performance.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood, in collaboration with the CII Foundation and with the support of The Tamil Nadu Industrial Investment Corporation (TIIC), successfully organised a two-day Business Transformation Workshop for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs on 25–26 March 2026 in .

Mr. V Sivaramakrishnan, Chairman, CII Trichy Zone and Managing Director, Sri Velavan Agro, interacted with participants and shared his entrepreneurial journey. He emphasised three key elements for business success: resilience, a strong desire to grow, and a customer-centric approach.

The workshop witnessed participation from 60 entrepreneurs representing diverse sectors. Notably, there was strong participation from women entrepreneurs, reflecting high levels of interest and engagement.

On 26 March 2026, the Trichy CII CEL Entrepreneurs Development Forum (EDF) meeting was also convened. The EDF serves as a platform to empower micro-entrepreneurs to learn, connect, and grow through mentorship, business networking, and an integrated Learning Management System (LMS). The forum enables entrepreneurs, experts, and partners to exchange ideas, strengthen enterprises, and accelerate business growth.

During the session, participants were introduced to simple tools to identify leadership styles and understand their impact on business outcomes and team morale. The discussion also focused on balancing task orientation with people management and introduced practical, easy-to-apply models to align tasks, people, and results effectively.

The programme concluded successfully, reinforcing CII’s commitment to fostering entrepreneurial growth and capacity building among micro and small enterprises.

As part of the Market Connect initiative, entrepreneurs of the CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood Andhra Pradesh Entrepreneurs Development Forum showcased their products during the CII Andhra Pradesh Annual Meeting held in on 21st March.

The business owners showcased banana fibre and millet based products under the Market Connect initiative. Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, Hon'ble Minister of Civil Aviation, Government of India and John Muthoot, Chairman, CII Southern Region and Chairman & Managing Director, Muthoot Fincorp Ltd, along with other delegates visited the stalls and interacted with the Entrepreneurs and appreciated their products. The initiative provided good expoyabd valuable market linkage opportunities.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood launched the Micro Entrepreneurs Business Excellence Program, supported by Volvo Group Trust and the Entrepreneurs Development Forum on 20 March 2026 in .

The initiative marks a significant stride toward strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the state, with a strong focus on women-led enterprises.

The exclusive forum was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Ms. Karma D. Youtso, SCS, Secretary, Commerce and Industries Department, Government of Sikkim; Mr. M. Ravi Kumar, IFS, Principal Director, Department of MSME, Government of Sikkim and Mr. Sony Virdi, Chairman, CII Sikkim State Council & Founder, Zion Education Trust.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from micro and small entrepreneurs across Sikkim, with an impressive 95% representation from women entrepreneurs. This overwhelming response reflects Sikkim’s growing prominence as India’s leading women-driven entrepreneurial state.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood has launched its flagship Micro and Small Entrepreneurs Development Program in on 16 March at . The program launch was followed by the Business Excellence Workshop supported by Volvo Group Trust.

The initiative launched in the august presence of Lt. General Kaiwalya Trivikram Parnaik (Retd.), PVSM, UYSM, YSM (Retd), Hon'ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, marks a significant step towards strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the State.

Addressing entrepreneurs, the Hon'ble Governor highlighted the importance of creating productive assets and encouraged enterprise growth in emerging sectors such as tourism-linked hospitality, waste management, green economy initiatives, hydropower, coaching services, preservation of local languages and community service kiosks. He emphasized that beyond access to finance and infrastructure, capacity building, buisness planning, financial management, marketing strategies, and adoption of modern technologies are critical for sustainable enterprise growth.

The programme saw active participation from over 60 entrepreneurs from Itanagar and nearby regions, who formally joined the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurs Development Forum.

CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood supported by Volvo Group Trust, organised a Business Excellence Workshop for Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in on 12 March.

The workshop witnessed participation from 68 entrepreneurs representing diverse sectors, including 40% women entrepreneurs. The Workshop was inaugurated in the presence of Dr Nagalakshmi V, Chairman, CII Vijayawada Zone and Managing Director, IMIS Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd. She emphasized the importance of ethical business practices, adopting and documenting good business practices, and building a strong reputation in the marketplace.

In a significant step towards advancing entrepreneurial development in , an MoU was formally exchanged between the Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation and CII Centre of Excellence on Employment and Livelihood on 8th March 2026 in , under the aegis of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Dr Nagalakshmi V, Chairperson, CII Vijayawada and Managing Director, IMIS Pharmaceuticals Private Limited exchanged the MoU with Shri Vishwa M, CEO, Andhra Pradesh MSME Development Corporation, in the presence of Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Smt Gummadi Sandhya Rani, Hon'ble Minister of Women & Child Welfare and Tribal Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh.

The collaboration aims to empower Micro and Small Entrepreneurs (MSEs) in Andhra Pradesh through structured capacity building programmes, improved market linkages, and professionally designed growth interventions. The partnership aligns with the Government of Andhra Pradesh's vision of building a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem that promotes economic growth, job creation, and inclusive development.
