Gulmeher: A collective of women waste pickers turned artisans, handcrafting eco-friendly products with recycled materials and preserved flowers.

Gulmeher Provides an alternative income generation opportunity to the waste picker’s community (400 families) & makes use of the daily wasted flowers from the nearby wholesale Flower Market in Ghazipur, East Delhi

The focus is on empowering women by organizing them into Self Help Groups, providing technical training, and market linkages to create a self sustaining entity. Through Gulmeher, the w

omen and youth have an additional income by making greeting cards, file covers, paper bags, bookmarks, and other decorative items.

'Tu me manques' (French), literally means "I miss you" in English. At a deeper level, however it conveys "you're missing from me, you're a part of me, and without you I'm incomplete" .
