Transforming Lives Through Collaboration

Strong communities are built on two pillars, quality healthcare and quality education. With the support of the Ministry of Defence and GE Aerospace, United Way of Delhi is driving lasting impact by reaching the last mile and transforming lives where it matters most. Through a shared vision and strong collaboration, we are creating sustainable change.

A fully developed Maternity Ward at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital is strengthening maternal and newborn healthcare, ensuring safer deliveries, better facilities, and dignified care for thousands of mothers and infants.

A completely built-from-scratch school, Mahatma Jotiba Phule School is creating a vibrant learning environment. 10 STEM Laboratories, developed end-to-end at various locations, are bringing experiential science and technology education to life, equipping over 5,650 students and 50 teachers with future-ready skills, hands-on learning, and the confidence to innovate.

Together, we are building healthier lives, empowering young minds, and creating lasting opportunities for generations to come.

India's greatest strength lies in it's YOUTH! As we look towards the future, it is certain that every youth is equipped with the education, skills, opportunities, and support systems needed to thrive in rapidly evolving world.

We thank ChildFund India for bringing together experts and stakeholders through its multi-stakeholder dialogue, "Catalysing Partnerships for Children, Youth, and Communities." The dialogue served as a powerful platform to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships, and collectively reaffirm our commitment to empowering children and young people.

United Way of Delhi's discussions reaffirmed the commitment to the journey from Education to livelihood opportunities for long-term success.

A powerful thought emerged during the dialogue: Every child is a Project in itself, a project that demands collective responsibility, deeper commitment, and sustained action from all of us. While access to education has improved, many young people continue to face limited exposure to career pathways, inadequate life-skills training, and a lack of mentorship and guidance.

Together, through collaboration and shared responsibility, we can create a future where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and realize their full potential.

More Than Just a Summer Camp: A Space for Learning, Creativity, and Growth!
The recent Summer Camp brought together 63 enthusiastic young eager minds to explore, learn, and grow.

Far beyond a seasonal camp, this initiative was designed to strengthen foundational learning, nurture creativity, and build confidence among children through a blend of engaging activities.

The energy and excitement among students have been truly inspiring. We look forward to creating meaningful learning experiences that empower children with knowledge, skills, and confidence for the future.

We are now in a phase where Rights-Based Approach is central to social development, and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) remain at the core of inclusive CSR initiatives.

At United Way of Delhi, we are committed to reaching out to the most marginalized communities and advancing efforts toward building a inclusive society. Our focus is on ensuring dignity, equal opportunity, and meaningful participation for all. Imagine a world where something as basic as reading a document, identifying currency, accessing information, or navigating daily life remains a challenge simply because information is not designed to be accessible.

We were proud to partner with National Association for the Blind, Delhi , and provide a platform for a meaningful conversation on Corporate Action for the Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities at the Inclusive India Summit 2026. The panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Sujeet Ranjan, brought together distinguished leaders whose rich experiences reinforced a powerful truth: an inclusive society cannot be built by policy alone. It requires collective action from corporates, social sector organizations, and communities working together with shared purpose.

Building an inclusive future requires more than intent; it demands sustained action, innovation, and partnerships that ensure no one is left behind.

World Environment Day 2026

This World Environment Day, we celebrate the power of collective action in creating a greener and more sustainable future.

Together with our government partners, corporate supporters, and communities, we achieved:

🌱 24,000+ saplings planted
☀️ 300+ solar panels installed across 38 government schools
⚡ 200+ kWh renewable energy capacity added
👥 59,389 community members engaged through environmental awareness and action initiatives

Every sapling planted, every solar panel installed, and every community empowered brings us one step closer to a more resilient and sustainable tomorrow.
