A simple water pot. A powerful act of kindness.

In Lucknow, hundreds of people came forward to collect water pots and place them outside their homes, shops, and on nearby streets for cows, dogs, birds and other street animals struggling in the summer heat.

What started as an initiative became a community movement.

Every pot placed means one more source of water for a thirsty animal.

Every participant means one more person choosing compassion.

We are grateful to everyone who joined hands with BDRF and took responsibility for the voiceless lives around us.

Because creating change doesn’t always require something big.

Sometimes, it starts with a pot of water outside your door.

The future of our planet depends on the choices we make today.

This World Environment Day, let’s commit to protecting natural resources, restoring ecosystems, conserving water and planting more trees for future generations.

Every small action matters.
Every tree planted matters.
Every effort towards a healthier planet matters.

Together, let’s build a cleaner, greener and more sustainable tomorrow.

BDRF volunteers are on the ground distributing ration kits and essential support to brick kiln worker families facing harsh working conditions.

Relief is reaching those who need it the most and we will continue to do more.

Behind every brick kiln are families working through extreme heat and difficult conditions just to survive.

BDRF is on the ground distributing ration kits and essential supplies to support brick kiln workers and their families.

But the need is far bigger than what we can do alone.

With your support, we can reach many more lives.

As part of our post-disaster support initiatives, BDRF volunteers organised a health camp in Pathankot to provide medical support to affected families and communities.

From free check-ups to medicines and consultations, the initiative focused on ensuring that healthcare reaches people who need it the most.

Because meaningful recovery includes care, support and continued presence on the ground.

One initiative. Two lives supported. 🌿

Under BDRF’s Double Impact Initiative, we are not just distributing clay water pots to families struggling in extreme heat, we are also supporting the local potters whose livelihoods depend on making them.

Every matka purchased means income for a hardworking artisan family. And every matka distributed means access to naturally cool drinking water for someone in need.

In the communities we visited, many families living in slum areas struggle even for basic necessities. During harsh summers, access to cool drinking water becomes even more difficult.

That’s why this initiative matters.

Support reaches both hands, the ones creating and the ones receiving.

With your continued support, we hope to reach many more families through BDRF’s Double Impact Initiative.
