The expert delegates on the Global Assembly for Humanitarian Dialogue, Mediators & Arbitrators contribute to the 'Harmony4Hostilities' mission theme and formulate programs that can be implemented to all our FBC national Blue Cross and Blue Crescent society delegations chapters, assisting those caught up in hostile situations, helping to bring about harmony and move towards a resolution of hostilities between those involved in disputes and conflict. Delegates are skilled arbitrators or mediators that assists in a process for sharing and learning about another group's beliefs, feelings, interests, and / or needs in a non-adversarial, and open way to help improve interpersonal understanding and trust, helping mediation efforts, exchanging knowledge among mediators, direct support to mediation processes, developing practical tools, designing a solution that helps disputing parties improve their communication and their analysis of the situation, so that the parties can themselves identify and choose an option for resolving the dispute or conflict that meets the interests or needs of all of the disputants and helping others strengthen their own mediation capacity.
