NHP Centre is an independent research foundation striving to creatively document India’s rich cultural heritage, traditions and practices, in particular from the twentieth century, for the benefit of future generations. Contributing to the socio-economic development of the country is another key area of its focus. Amongst other, the Centre also works in the areas of health, environment and protect

ion of wild life. Founded by Sumant and Asha Batra, New Delhi based lawyers, the Centre is a society registered in New Delhi under the Societies Registration Act, 1860. Established in the year 2000, the governing body of
NHP Centre comprises of eminent persons with experience in diverse spheres of life.
