Eco Roots Foundation

Eco Roots Foundation Further, the organization explored the necessity to influence the future of the world, i.e., children.

Eco Roots Foundation was founded in 2012 by renowned environmentalist Shri Rakesh Khatri, also known as the Nest Man of India working tirelessly to conserve the ecosystem, environment, and bio-diversity. The organization acts as a medium to interact with more and more people to incite sensitivity towards environmental issues, thereby motivating them to work towards environmental conservation. Small initiatives such as building tree canopies in the RWAs of East Delhi, installing recycled e-waste bins in residential areas, and establishing herbal nurseries in school complexes; environmental conservation is a major area of work for the organization. Eco Roots Foundation encourages children and the youth to take care for their environment; hence, Environmental Education became a theme in the NGO's ongoing goals. VISION

🌿 Nest Making Workshop | HCL Foundation × Eco Roots Foundation

Nest making is more than a creative activity—it is an experience of connection, calm, and collaboration. 🪺💚

When children come together to build a nest, every little contribution matters. They learn to share ideas, work as a team, practise patience, and create something together—while building a deeper connection with nature.

✨ Therapeutic & calming
🤝 Builds collaboration
🌱 Encourages group effort
🐦 Connects children with nature

Because sometimes, the best learning happens when little hands come together to create something meaningful.

Together, we grow. 🌿

Got it - this one is for Eco Roots Foundation + HCLFoundation voice. Here’s the corrected Option 1:

छोटे हाथ, बड़ी ज़िम्मेदारी
प्रकृति से जुड़ें, भविष्य संवारें

Greener Tomorrow, Rooted Today.

At Eco Roots Foundation, with the support of HCLFoundation, we are nurturing young change-makers right inside their classrooms.

Through Nest Making, Nature Walks / Eco-tours, and Eco-theatre, children are not just learning _about_ nature, they are learning _with_ nature.

They build homes for their feathered friends.
They explore, observe and learn.
They tell stories for a greener planet.

Because we believe - every child can be a change-maker.

When a teacher says this kind of work is good for our environment...

We pause. We listen. And we feel deeply grateful.

This is just one of the many voices from our school partners who believe in building foundations that are inclusive, kind, and safe for every child.

Because when schools get the foundation right, children don’t just learn better - they _belong_ better.

Thank you to all the teachers who trust us, collaborate with us, and let us be a small part of your school’s environment. This work is only possible because of you.

We are so grateful to do what we do.

Co-Existence Starts with Understanding.

Why does a bird build a nest? Where does it find twigs? What happens when trees disappear?

At Govt. Primary School, Illahabans, we didn’t just answer these questions - we lived them.

Children crafted nests with their own hands and promised to be guardians of their green windows.
