Nirmalya is a social initiative, which focuses on tackling the waste management problems in Slums and Rural Areas in and around Delhi. To achieve the target, we are looking to improve the waste-collection and waste-segregation aspects, because of inadequate current facilities. We are also trying to focus on the conversion of the collected "Wet-waste" into either Manure or Bio-gas. We also focus on

the empowerment of "Kude-Walas" from their current social and economic standards by implementing a self-sustainable business model.

Our Story

Nirmalya is an initiative in the domain of waste management kicked off in December,2015 by the students of IIT Delhi. It sustains at the intersection of Innovation, Inclusion and Idealization. Aiming to stop waste reaching the landfills, we build and implement multiple customized solutions and models to Horticulture and kitchen waste. Upliftment and empowerment of those being a part of the loop is our another prime concern.

We have been working with the potters of “Kumhar-Gram” and with the manufacturers of “Bhogal” enhancing there business and developing a modernistic approach to composting through our latest Home-Composter.
