On 24th February at Kota, Rajasthan, in the gracious presence of Hon’ble Speaker Shri Om Birla Ji and Shri Sandeep Kumar Gupta Ji, Chairman & Managing Director, GAIL (India) Limited, Promising Indian Society had the privilege of being associated with the impactful “सुपोषित माँ अभियान”, dedicated to strengthening maternal health and nutrition within the community.

This video captures key moments from the Anganwadi Centres Inauguration Programme held at Bagodar Block, Giridih (Jharkhand)—a meaningful day that brought together community voices, women’s participation, and national leadership with a shared commitment to strengthening early childhood development.
The programme was inaugurated by Smt. Annapurna Devi, Hon’ble Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Government of India, and Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Koderma, who addressed the gathering and highlighted the vital role of strong Anganwadi infrastructure in improving the health, nutrition, and early education of children and mothers.
A special highlight of the event was the *Samvad (interaction)* between the Founder President of Promising Indian Society, Ms. Prerna Singh; Shri Anil Kumar Jha, CGM-CSR-GAIL (India) Limited; and Anganwadi workers. During this open dialogue, frontline experiences, local challenges, and shared aspirations were discussed, reflecting the true spirit of grassroots development. The interaction reinforced the belief that sustainable change begins by listening to those who serve communities at the grassroots level.
The initiative was implemented under the CSR programme of GAIL (India) Limited, focusing on the beautification and structural strengthening of Anganwadi Centres to create safe, welcoming, and child-friendly learning environments.
The programme was graced by senior dignitaries, representatives from GAIL (India) Limited, elected leaders, and members of Promising Indian Society—demonstrating the strength of a public–private–community partnership.

A Poshan Kit Distribution Program was successfully organized for pregnant and lactating women in Kota, Rajasthan, with the objective of improving maternal health and supporting overall child development.
This initiative was implemented by Promising Indian Society with CSR support from GAIL (India) Limited, reflecting a shared commitment towards strengthening nutrition, care, and well-being of mothers and children at the grassroots level.
Proper nutrition during pregnancy and lactation is essential for the health of both mother and child, helping prevent deficiencies and supporting healthy growth and development.

The 3rd Edition of one of the largest annual flagship event“Promising Indian Conclave &Awards”took place at two different venues in Delhion 17th and 18th of Dec, 2019 respectively.The Promising Indian Society hosts the largest annual networking event to bridge the communication gap between NRI’s, PIO’s and among Citizens of India.The main aim of the society is to unite Indians globally and to applaud for their outstanding achievements.
The Conclave took place on the 17th of December at Civil Services Officer’s Institute at KG Marg, Delhi. Two important initiatives by Promising Indian Society were launched by Prerna Singh, the young and dynamic Founder President of the organisation. “DigiGaon Job Factory”, the first initiative launched in collaboration with Bluetown is an initiative to empower women across the length and breadth of India via a digital platform wherein they can be self-sufficient intrapreneurs and able to sustain themselves through generating jobs for the unemployed. An MOU to this effect was signed by Prerna Singh and the Chairman of Bluetown, Satya N.Gupta. The other initiative launched was “Indian Verandah” which aims to bring forward and showcase the lost art and crafts of India.
The conclave was well attended by several dignitaries, notably Ira Singhal IAS, Dy. Commissioner NDMC , SunitaSanghi- Additional Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development, Pradeep Kumar- Member Railway Board, Anil Swarup IAS, Former Education Secretary, Govt of India, Abhay Gupta, CEO, Luxury Connect, Dr. B B L Madhukar, BRICS Chamber of Commerce and a host of Promising Indian Delegates who had come from countries like Kuwait, Oman, Mauritius, UK, Bahrain, China and the US to attend the event. The highlight of the event was an animated discussion on challenges of Bureaucracy in which Anil Swarup and Ira Singhal took part. The Launching of Gyan Vahini -National Knowledge Transport Grid (NKTG) Conceptby Satya Gupta also took place. Other eminent speakers spoke on Start-ups, Social Activism, Water Crisis etc
The Glittering Awards function took place in a beautifully decorated venue at the Airport Authority Officers Institute, Safdarjung, Delhi where the Chief Guest Ms. Laxmi Agarwal, Acid attack survivor and campaigner for Women’s Rights. The evening was graced by the presence of a number of dignitaries and well known personalities including Sandeep Marwah, Anil Swarup, Anita Bimal, RuhiGanguly, GirirajSinghjiLotwara and PrernaSingh . Hosted by KirtiNarang& Jaideep Gupta, more than 35 Indian Achievers Nationally and Internationally were recognised for their talent and contribution. It will not be out of place to mention that there were more than 380 applications for the awards for the team to consider in 12 broad-based categories.
The Show was peppered with performances by Dance Out of Poverty Group which rehabilitates slum children, Kathak Performance by the students of the famous dancer ShikhaKhareand an inspiring performance by Benzy Kumar, an autistic artist who was also felicitated for her achievements. Other recipients were a 14 year old inventor, a 20 year old social activist and other achievers who have made a mark for themselves in their respective fields.
