Janman People’s Foundation, through its 𝘑𝘢𝘯 𝘕𝘺𝘢𝘺 𝘈𝘣𝘩𝘪𝘺𝘢𝘯 initiative, is convening 𝐉𝐚𝐧 𝐍𝐲𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐯𝐚𝐚𝐝 2026 — 𝘈 𝘉𝘪𝘩𝘢𝘳 𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘶𝘭𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘰𝘯 𝘎𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳-𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘝𝘪𝘰𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘗𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 on 27 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 2026 (9 𝐀𝐌 𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬) 𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐲𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐚𝐰 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 (𝐂𝐍𝐋𝐔), 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐧𝐚.

This one-day state consultation seeks to bring together stakeholders from the judiciary, legal services institutions, police, academia, civil society, social workers, and frontline practitioners to collectively reflect on one urgent question:

विश्व कैंसर दिवस (4 फ़रवरी 2026) के अवसर पर जनमन पीपुल्स फ़ाउंडेशन ने फेडरेशन ऑफ़ ऑब्स्टेट्रिक एंड गायनेकोलॉजिकल सोसाइटीज़ ऑफ़ इंडिया (FOGSI) के सहयोग से ज़िले के सभी कस्तूरबा गांधी बालिका विद्यालयों एवं Vidya Vihar Institute of Technology, Purnea, Bihar में सर्वाइकल एवं स्तन कैंसर पर जागरूकता अभियान आयोजित किया।

KGBV पूर्णिया सदर से ऑफ़लाइन सत्र के साथ, हाइब्रिड मोड में ज़िले के सभी 20 KGBVs को जोड़ा गयाबिहार में महिलाओं में पाए जाने वाले कुल कैंसर मामलों में स्तन और सर्वाइकल कैंसर की हिस्सेदारी सबसे अधिक है, जबकि समय पर स्क्रीनिंग और जानकारी के अभाव में ज़्यादातर मामले देर से सामने आते हैं।

यह केवल स्वास्थ्य का नहीं, बल्कि नीति, प्राथमिकता और सार्वजनिक निवेश का सवाल है।
डॉ. ऋचा झा (विभागाध्यक्ष , स्त्री एवं प्रसूति रोग विभाग, राजकीय चिकित्सा महाविद्यालय एवं अस्पताल पूर्णिया) का आभार, जिन्होंने छात्राओं को रोकथाम, टीकाकरण और नियमित जाँच के महत्व पर स्पष्ट मार्गदर्शन दिया।

यदि हम चाहते हैं कि किशोरियाँ सुरक्षित और सशक्त हों, तो स्कूल-स्तर पर स्वास्थ्य शिक्षा, नियमित स्क्रीनिंग और संस्थागत सहयोग को नीति का हिस्सा बनाना होगा।

As India marks its 77th year as a Republic, Janman , in collaboration with the Sub Himalayan Research Institute, organised a seminar in Purnea on “India’s Nation Building: The Spirit of the Constituent Assembly and Today’s Political Discourse."

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳. 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗸𝘂𝗿 (𝗝𝗡𝗨), 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗸𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶, 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗿, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗿𝗶 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗼𝘀𝗵 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀.

The programme was organised to honour the legacy of Md Tahir of Purnea, a member of the Constituent Assembly and former Member of Parliament, and to reconnect contemporary political discourse with constitutional values.

Deloitte employees engaged with students through interactive sessions on 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐬, 𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞-𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 and fun games—bringing curiosity, energy, and smiles into the classroom. The team also took time to understand Janman’s work across 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐢-𝐍𝐂𝐑 & 𝐁𝐢𝐡𝐚𝐫, and how community-led interventions can strengthen government school systems.
