Sourav Singh for the welfare of street children, adolescent youth, women and elderly in the society. Things We Do
We are helping to create lasting changes in street children, adolescent youth, women and elderly. We evaluate children's issues in their entirety. Rather than through the narrow prisms of education, health issues, child labor, child abuse, foeticide/infanticide etc., we seek the under
lying root of the causes of deprivation. Our discovery leads to gender, caste, livelihoods, and displacement just to name a few. Currently we are working in (3) States of India with more than 900 volunteers/members and have.reached more than 2,000 street children. We provide school supplies, clothing, and nutritious meals for less fortunate children. Presently, we provide and manage a Primary school in Bihar. We sponsor 240 street children to government schools in Delhi, previously begging and picking rags. We offer after school programs, and provide quality academic courses, including computer education for adolescent youth. We're opening vocational training centers to promote promising futures for adolescent youth and adults. We support Woman's Empowerment forums to help improve the quality of life for women. Our goal is to provide hope for each local community we are involved with and to find long-term solutions to these issues by ensuring the relevant laws and policies that guarantee their rights are actually implemented.
