'Charisma' Sonia George Charitable Society, Reg no: S- 57327 of 2006/07, PAN no: AAATC9081D 13/12/2006 is formed in memory of Sonia Ann George, with a view to help cancer patients who are unable to meet the treatment costs because of economic reasons. She was a student of St.Xaviers School, 4 Rajniwas Marg, Delhi 110054. and Jesus and Mary College, Chanakyapun, New Delhi 110021. She was a very
brilliant student ,excellent in studies and extra curricular activities. This young girl gifted with many histrionic talent was loved by both her teachers and all associated with her. Unfortunately when she was 17 years, was found that she was affected by the deadly killer disease Cancer. Five long years she fought for her life and attest she was called to eternity on August 24, 2004. It was her last wish to help cancer patients as much as possible. Sonia always believed in sharing others sorrows even as she fought for her own life along battle that lasted more than 5 years. It, is the Endeavour of this society to carry on with her good works and keep her memories alive which give us strength. She lived only for 22 years and yet inspired us all to continue the good work which she had started
Each one of us by ourselves cannot accomplish much In supporting the treatment of cancer patients but we hope that this society offers a platform for those who wish to collectively make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
