Lions Food Bank On Wheels
This project was initiated on 2nd August 2018. We started with 4 food packets in Pitam Pura. Today we are sending food packets to 34 needy people in Pitam Pura, Shalimar Bagh, Rohini, Mukundpur, Trinagar, Tilak Nagar area.
We do telephonic discussion and then personal visit to verify the genuineness of the needy before sending food packets. This ensures that we are not encouraging begging and kaamchori. This also ensures that we serve more genuine needy people , with our limited resources.
We are getting support from public. This is required as we can’t sustain this project for long with our contributions for long. You can also support by sponsoring meals @ Rs 50/- per meal on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, punytithi etc.
