SLRE Foundation SLRE Foundation a Non-Government Organization SLREF is a trust registered under the Indian Trusts Act, 1882.

The Socio- Legal Research and Education Foundation (SLREF) is an independent, non-profit organisation based in New Delhi. SLREF was established with the primary objective of conducting law and policy research on various aspects of socio-legal problems in the society with especial emphasis on environment and forests. SLREF also carries out academic research on law, policies and institutions related

to environment and natural resources. The underlying objective is to promote wide dissemination of knowledge among stakeholders so as to work towards conservation and sustainable use of the environment and natural resources.
