The Foundation had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful dialogue with Tore Naerland Founder and President of Bike for Peace, an organisation that has spent decades using bicycle journeys to build bridges across conflict lines and bring people together through dialogue.

The conversation explored the importance of peacebuilding, conflict de-escalation, nuclear disarmament and dialogue in addressing some of the world’s most pressing challenges.

Tore Nærland has been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize multiple times in recognition of his longstanding work for peace.

We were deeply honoured to screen Amma’s Way: A Journey to Embrace the World Again, a beautiful and moving film that offers an intimate glimpse into the life and extraordinary work of Mata Amritanandamayi (Amma).

Through powerful stories and heartfelt moments, the film explores Amma’s way of living — a life rooted in love, service, compassion, and selfless care for others. It was a deeply inspiring experience and a reminder of how one person’s commitment to humanity can touch countless lives.

A very special thank you to filmmaker Anna Agnelli for creating this beautiful film and for sharing Amma’s remarkable journey with us.

We were also fortunate to have Prayin, the Manager of Mata Amrita Hospital, Delhi, and Swamiji from the Vasant Kunj branch, join us for the screening. Their presence made the evening even more meaningful.

A moving documentary that follows the life and humanitarian work of Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, widely known as Amma or “The Hugging Saint.” Through stories of compassion, selfless service and spiritual wisdom, the film explores how one person’s message of love and care has inspired millions around the world, inviting reflection on the power of kindness, human connection and our shared responsibility toward one another in an increasingly divided world.
