It is in proximity of various Okhla colonies and renowned south Delhi hospitals, namely: Apollo, Fortis-Escorts and Holy Family. tall chimney will emit TOXIC smoke 24 hous a day, that will engulf population under 5 Km radius. The plant is said to be in violation of Supreme Court order. Residents of the Sukhdev Vihar and adjoining areas have launched a campaign for removal of Demon-BMW and MSW WTE Okhla incineration plants.
