Serving the marginalized with dignity and compassion. 🤝💛

For the Chenchu PVTG community in Telangana, the month of May brings a challenging lean season where forest produce is scarce and seasonal daily wage work is nearly impossible to find.

To ensure that hunger doesn't overshadow hope, EFICOR joined hands with Donatekart and Amazon India to deliver vital sustenance. Through this joint effort, 419 marginalized households across 15 villages in the Amrabad and Lingal blocks received essential food kits.

This wasn't just about distributing rations; it was about ensuring 15 days of secure nutrition for 2,105 individuals—including 641 women and 326 children. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners and ground teams whose shared commitment made this swift distribution possible.

Together, we can build resilient communities that withstand the toughest seasons. 🌾📦

What does it take to end hunger? It takes a community coming together from soil to plate. 🌾✨

At EFICOR, our strategy combines immediate action with long-term resilience. We aren't just distributing food—we're helping communities grow their own. Through our sustainable initiatives, we've helped restore 5,000+ acres of land and set up 1,200 kitchen gardens across our project areas! 🥦🥕

But we don't stop at agriculture. We’re breaking the cycle of malnutrition by training frontline healthcare workers, strengthening Village Health Committees (VHSNCs), and supporting Anganwadi centers to ensure mothers and children get the critical care they need. To date, EFICOR’s initiatives have reached more than 500,000 vulnerable households across multiple states in India.

The end of hunger is in our hands. 🤝 Partner with EFICOR today to empower marginalized communities and bring food security to India. Let’s make hunger history together!

"It started with a light drizzle. Life was going on as usual... and then, everything changed in a flash." 🛑

Hear the chilling, raw account of Mr. Balvinder Panwar, a survivor of the 2025 Dharali disaster. He stood right in the path of the destruction, shouting to warn others as a mountain of debris and massive boulders swallowed his village.

"The entire village was getting destroyed in front of my eyes... I thought, now even God can't save me." 🙏🏔️

Balvinder survived to tell the tale, but the scars on the community run deep. EFICOR has been on the ground helping families rebuild their lives from the debris. In the face of intensifying climate crises, let’s stand together to protect and rebuild our mountain communities.

It started as a light morning drizzle. Life in Dharali was moving at its usual, peaceful pace. But in a matter of seconds, the sky broke, and the mountains c...

"This is all we have, and we want to give it as a token of gratitude..." 🥭✨

When our team visited a family in Bolangir, Odisha, we were welcomed with a plate of mangoes. Behind this simple gift was a powerful story of survival.

Four years ago, Topodevi gave birth to premature twins weighing under 1 kg each. Through EFICOR's consistent health counselling and guidance, the family learned how to protect and care for their fragile newborns, choosing to halt their seasonal migration to prioritize their health.

Today, those twins are 4 years old—healthy, active, and full of life! 👧🏻👦🏻

That plate of mangoes was their way of saying, "Thank you for helping us keep our children alive." It’s moments like these that remind us why we do what we do. 💛

During a routine monitoring visit in Odisha, a family welcomed an EFICOR staff member with a plate of mangoes. 🥭

Curious, we asked, “Why so many?” Topodevi Malik replied softly, “This is all we have, and we want to give it as a token of gratitude for EFICOR’s support.”

Four years ago, Topodevi gave birth to twins weighing less than 1 kg each. The family faced immense fear and uncertainty. But they weren't alone. 🤝

Through regular counselling and guidance from EFICOR, they learned how to care for their fragile newborns. They made deep sacrifices—even halting their seasonal migration—to focus on their babies.

Today, those twins are 4 years old—healthy, active, and thriving! That plate of mangoes was their way of saying, "Thank you for helping us keep our children alive." 💙

Sometimes, the most powerful gratitude comes wrapped in the simplest gift. This is why we do what we do.
