National Resource Centre for Foster Care in India, Jamia Millia Islamia The NRCAC is mandated to create and support a favourable environment for alternative care in India.

The Centre for Early Childhood Development and Research, supported by Save the Children, in association with the Rainbow Fostering of the UK has launched the National Resource Centre on Foster Care [NRCFC] on its campus. The NRCFC shall be available to you to answer any queries that you may have regarding fostering children. The NRCFC has specially trained counselors who would be available to talk

to you, in a confidential manner, clarifying your doubts and concerns. Also, these counselors shall guide you and your family while you are fostering children. They would also link you up with support systems, both governmental and non-governmental. In addition, it will also house all documents like laws, guidelines and other related information for prospective foster parents.
