We are proud to announce the launch of the Asia-Pacific Care-Climate Hub — a regional platform advancing care-centred climate action across Asia and the Pacific. 🌏🤝

Launched through the Care and Climate Catalyst Program Asia, the Hub brings together researchers, policymakers, grassroots organisations, and social innovators to address the intersection of the climate crisis and the care crisis.

Across the region, women and girls continue to shoulder a disproportionate burden of unpaid care work — responsibilities that intensify during climate shocks such as floods, droughts, and extreme weather events. Yet, this invisible labour remains largely absent from climate adaptation and disaster resilience strategies.

Led by Dharmalife Foundation gGmbH with support from International Development Research Centre (IDRC), and in partnership with UN Women
ROAP, The Asia Foundation, Wheeler Institute for Business and Development, and the Indian School of Business, Srini Raju Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (SRITNE), ISB, the Hub aims to place care at the centre of climate resilience planning.
Through this initiative, we will:
· Generate evidence on care–climate linkages
· Pilot integrated care and climate-resilient models
· Build grassroots-to-policy networks across Asia-Pacific
· Strengthen advocacy for inclusive climate and care policies

“The climate crisis and the care crisis share a common root: an economic paradigm that renders both women’s labour and our natural environment invisible. Addressing one without the other is no longer an option.”
— Gaurav Mehta, Founder & CEO, Dharmalife Foundation gGmbH
Because climate resilience is not only about infrastructure — it is also about the systems of care that sustain our communities every day

What could be the best part of celebrating Earth Day through imagination and fresh ideas?

From Creativity & Innovation Day to Earth Day, ideas turned into action at Samarthya Learning Center.
Students planted saplings, learned how to care for and water them, and expressed their thoughts through hand painting—making the celebration both meaningful and hands-on.
Through these activities, they developed physical and motor skills, strengthened social and emotional learning, and built a deeper sense of responsibility towards the environment.
Because when ideas turn into action, it shapes not just awareness—but the overall holistic development of children for a better tomorrow.

Not every step towards well-being looks big—sometimes, it’s just a moment of pause.
Wellness goes beyond individual health—it’s a global priority. Recognised within the United Nations’ vision and aligned with SDG 3: Good Health & Well-being, the focus is on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being for all, at every stage.
At Dharmalife, this belief translates into action—through community awareness, access to essential products, and empowering individuals with knowledge to make healthier choices every day. From hygiene to nutrition and overall well-being, small interventions are creating meaningful change on the ground.
Because when individuals are well, communities grow stronger—and that’s how lasting impact is built. 💙

This Health Day, our young learners practiced simple yet powerful habits—brushing, handwashing, staying active, and staying hydrated.
Beyond these daily routines, children at Samarthya Learning Center are building essential 21st century life skills—learning self-discipline, personal responsibility, and awareness about their health and well-being.
Through hands-on activities, they are developing confidence, independence, and healthy habits that will shape their future.
Because small habits today lay the foundation for stronger, healthier, and more aware individuals tomorrow.

Celebrating Women Every Day at Dharmalife

🌸 From First Steps to Shared Strength: Celebrating Women Who Lead Change 🌸

At Dharmalife, women are not just participants—they are the strength and pillars of the movement. This International Women’s Day, we celebrated the spirit of women who continue to learn, lead, and create change in their communities under the theme “Give to Gain
The celebrations began with a Leadership Circle with Dharmalife Society leaders, where women entrepreneurs reflected on their journeys and shared how their first steps in the village created opportunities for others.
At the Samarthya Learning Centers, teachers, center assistants, mothers, beneficiaries, and children came together to celebrate. Young learners expressed heartfelt thanks to their teachers and support staff for guiding them.
At the Dharmalife office, the team reflected by sharing one strength they discovered and one weakness they worked to overcome.
From receivers of opportunities to givers of knowledge and leaders of change, these women continue to inspire their families and communities everyday 🌸

When Women Rise, Communities Thrive: The Dharmalife Journey from Learning to Leadership

Across rural India, thousands of women are quietly redefining what leadership looks like. Through Dharmalife’s network of 26,000 Dharmalife Entrepreneurs (DLEs) across 15 states, women are emerging as changemakers in their communities—beginning with a simple curiosity to learn. Whether it is gaining digital skills, improving financial literacy, exploring entrepreneurship, or understanding new market opportunities, many women start their journey with a desire to build a better future for their families. Over time, that curiosity transforms into confidence, enterprise, and leadership as these women create their own socio-economic footprint while mentoring and inspiring others in their communities.

At the heart of this transformation is Jaya, Dharmalife’s structured four-stage learning-to-leadership pathway that guides women from knowledge and skill-building to entrepreneurship and community leadership. Supported by DLEs—women chosen from within their communities and trained as behaviour-change agents, market facilitators, and local role models—this ecosystem enables women not only to learn but also to lead.

This International Women’s Day, as the world reflects on the theme “Give to Gain,” Dharmalife celebrates the power of collective action. When institutions invest in women’s knowledge, opportunities, and leadership, the returns are transformative—not just for individuals, but for entire communities. By giving women access to skills, networks, and markets, we gain stronger rural economies, resilient households, and a future where women’s leadership drives inclusive growth.

When women learn, they lead. When women lead, communities thrive. 💜

🌿✨ Holi at Dharmalife ✨🌿

Green. Clean. Rooted.

Celebrations are powerful learning moments. The way we celebrate shapes young minds. 🌿
At Dharmalife’s Samarthya Centres, Holi celebrations resonated with our principles of sustainability and climate friendly. Children, their parents, centre facilitators and our women entrepreneurs played colours but with limited water in a clean way — reinforcing the importance of environmental responsibility from an early age.
Beyond colours, the celebration focused on holistic development — nurturing cultural understanding, social bonding, shared responsibility, and respect for nature.

🔬🌞 National Science Day Celebration🌞🔬

Science is learnt only in the way it should be — through everyday experiences, observation, and curiosity.
Dharmalife amplifies scientific temper through
1. practical and regular engagement session about clean energy,
2. simple experiments,
3. Inquisitive questions,
4. Hypothesis development and predictions, and
5. connected learning with nature and daily life.

While celebrating Science Day, our children pledges to keep the Earth clean and green, understanding that science and responsibility go hand in hand. 🌱
We believe science is not limited to textbooks — it lives in the sun, water, environment, and in every curious mind.

Dharmalife at the India Distributed Renewable Energy (DRE) Summit 2026:
Dr Panchalee Tamulee Pillai, Chief of Staff, spoke about Dharmalife's work on a critical theme— inclusion in enabling capacity building while opening the doors for financial support to the women entrepreneurs in India’s remotest regions.

The discussion explored an important question:

How can intelligence meaningfully strengthen capacity building and financial inclusion in geographies such as ?

While financing conversations often centre on blended capital, underwriting structures, and risk mitigation, sustainable inclusion begins much earlier. When women entrepreneurs are equipped with business acumen, digital fluency, and financial literacy, they build not just enterprise performance but also measurable credit readiness and credit willingness.

Through Dharmalife’s AI-enabled Learning Experience System (LES), 25,000+ women entrepreneurs across renewable energy and rural commerce undergo structured, layered training before advancing to specialised hashtag and solar solutions. In remote regions, the platform also serves as a real-time troubleshooting and knowledge support system, strengthening service reliability and community trust.

Importantly, learning is data-backed. Training engagement, refresher participation, and performance metrics translate into structured scoring — enabling financial institutions to assess capability alongside transactions.

At , we demonstrate that capability can become collateral. By linking AI-enabled learning with responsible financing frameworks, we are strengthening women-led DRE enterprises and building resilient value chains—even in the most underserved geographies.

When DLEs (Dharmalife Entrepreneurs) uses digital tools like the Roshni AI chatbot to learn and grow, she expands her confidence and capabilities. By strengthening her financial literacy—managing digital payments, tracking earnings, and making informed decisions—she builds a more secure livelihood and greater independence.

When a household adopts clean energy through an induction cookstove, daily life becomes safer and more efficient.

When children at Samarthya Learning Centers and students of LUYM engage with science through hands-on learning, curiosity turns into confidence.

Girls begin to see STEM not as distant or intimidating, but as accessible and achievable.

This is how the gender gap in STEM begins to close—through everyday access, opportunity, and action.

At Dharmalife, we turn vision into impact by breaking stereotypes and building inclusive pathways for women and girls in STEM.
