This brave stray dog had a terrible accident that left one of his legs severely injured, with exposed bones and a serious infection. Thanks to the compassion of our landlord and his friends, he was rescued in time and received the medical care he desperately needed. To save his life and relieve his suffering, the veterinarians had to amputate the damaged limb.
He is now recovering and learning to adapt to his new life.

When their mother passed away, these tiny kittens had barely opened their eyes to the world. Fragile, helpless, and too young to understand loss, their chances of survival seemed almost impossible. Every feeding, every sleepless night, and every little milestone was a battle fought with love and hope.

Today, watching them run, play, and cuddle safely in their forever home feels nothing short of a miracle. Their journey is a reminder that even the smallest lives deserve a chance, and that compassion can turn a story of heartbreak into one of joy, healing, and endless love.

This tiny puppy, barely one month old, has been brutally thrown from a bike by two youngsters at night. Frightened, helpless and too young to fend for herself, she was left to face an uncertain faith. Thankfully a compassionate passerby rescued her and brought her to us where she is now safe, loved and receiving the care she deserves.

A true mother’s love knows no difference between a biological child and an adopted child. Love, care, protection, and warmth come from the heart, not from blood.

We are so proud to have you Sapna at our Kalyani Animal Welfare family. Your love and compassion have saved the lives of many orphans.

We do not have any cattery, but we could not turn our faces from these locally rescued kittens whose mother has died in a road accident. These babies have been adopted and will go to their forever home soon.
