๐ 55 Students Receive Free Spectacles Through SBM Alumni Association's Eye Care Initiative ๐
A small initiative can make a big difference in a child's future.
We are delighted to share that, during the eye screening camp organized for our students, 306 students underwent comprehensive eye examinations, and 55 needy students have now received free spectacles, helping them see the world more clearly and perform better in their studies.
The screening also led to the early detection of two cases of amblyopia (lazy eye). Although these children do not require spectacles, timely diagnosis is extremely important as they need specialized treatment. This reinforces the value of preventive health screening.
In addition, students were sensitized through eye health awareness sessions on the importance of proper lighting, correct reading posture, and taking care of their vision.
This meaningful initiative was made possible through the support of Mahavir International, facilitated by our President Shri C. M. Garg, who, as one of its Directors, helped bring this opportunity to our school.
Our heartfelt appreciation also goes to our distinguished alumni Dr. Vijay Rai and Dr. Vijay Gupta, who graciously spared their valuable time to supervise the camp and guide the entire process with great care and dedication.
Together, we remain committed to the well-being of our studentsโbecause every child deserves the gift of clear vision and a brighter future.
๐ Heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, volunteers, Mahavir International, and every member of the SBM Alumni Association who contributed to this noble cause.
