The Office of the Association shall remain in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and at

2 (b). Working Area:
National Capital Territory of Delhi. AIMS AND OBJECTS:
The Aims and Objects of the Association shall be:
1. To maintain liaison with the School authorities and to help them to raise standard of education and carryout curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, as may be required for improvement of overall performance of the School and other Institutions.
2. To promote fraternity, understanding and goodwill among the old and new students of the School, members of the teaching/non-teaching staff and the management of the School.
3. To make adequate provisions for formal/ technical/ vocational/ professional education and training, career guidance and holding coaching classes for the students of Urdu Medium Schools and other educational institutions.
4. To arrange and Organize Seminars, Workshops, Exhibitions, Training and Research Programs on the subjects/matters relating to education to fulfill the objects of the Association.
5. To hold inter-school debates, quizzes, competitions in essay/article writing, painting, music, poetry and other fields of academics, arts, culture and other activities for physical, intellectual and social development of the students, get-togethers of students and teachers, orientation programs, refresher courses, experience sharing programs etc.
6. To launch health awareness campaigns, organize health camps and arrange for training in First Aid and disaster management.
7. To work for the overall welfare and rehabilitation of senior citizens, deaf & dumb, Non learners, disabled persons and differently able persons.
8. To work for preservation and promotion of Delhi’s traditional and cultural values, create awareness about Delhi’s history, heritage and culture and honour prominent persons who have made significant contribution towards furthering this cause.
9. To hold functions on National occasions like Independence Day, Republic Day and other important days and festivals.
10. To give away prizes and medals to the meritorious students of the School and other Urdu medium schools for excellence in curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
11. To provide assistance to the meritorious, needy and poor students of the School and other Urdu medium schools by way of grant of scholarships, financial assistance etc.
12. To set up libraries, reading rooms, book banks, print and publish journals, books, periodicals, leaflets, directories etc. that the Association may consider desirable for the promotion of its Aims and Objects.
13. To collect notices, notifications, policy information etc. from the Government, Semi-Government, Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) and other National/International agencies concerning education and utilize the same for achieving the Aims and Objects of the Association.
14. To launch website of Old Boys’ Association of Anglo Arabic Schools and Delhi College to project and highlight its heritage status and cultural and historical importance to create a sense of pride in the students of the School, to provide information relating to the activities, performance and achievements of the School and the Association and also to provide a platform for the School’s alumni and current students to interact with one another for facilitating attainment of the Association’s Aims and Objects.
15. To raise, secure, receive, accept and manage funds, donations, grants, endowments, presents, gifts and other offerings (in the shape of movable and immovable properties) from lawful sources and to utilize them for furthering and promoting the Aims and Objects of the Association.
16. The Association shall obtain 80-G, 12-A Certificates and FCRA from the Income Tax Department for exemption from Income Tax to donors on donations made to the Association.
17. To receive financial and non-financial assistance from Government/Semi-Government, Non-Government organizations and National/International Agencies for attaining the objectives of the Association.
18. To assist and co-operate in the work and activities of other Associations, Societies, Trusts, NGO’s etc. whose aims are similar to those of this Association.
19. All the acts/activities/programmes of the Association shall be Non-profitable and shall be done on “No Profit-No Loss” basis.
20. Any other activities/functions approved by the AGM/Governing Body.
21. The Aims and Objects of the Association shall be purely for “CHARITABLE PURPOSE”.
22. The Association will appoint necessary staff to carry out its day-to-day work of the Association and the same will be appointed by the Governing Body.
23. All the incomes, earnings, movable and/or immovable properties of the Association shall be solely utilized towards the promotion of its Aims and Objects only, as set forth in the Memorandum of Association and no profit thereof shall be paid or transferred directly or indirectly by way of dividends, bonus, profits or in any manner whatsoever to the present or the past members of the Association or to any person claiming through any one or more of the present or the past members. No member of the Association shall have any personal claim on any movable and/or immovable properties of the Association or make any profits, whatsoever, by virtue of this membership.
