In Kapashera, a large worker community in Delhi, PF-related challenges are something we come across regularly. For many workers, PF issues can remain unresolved for months or even 2–3 years—due to lack of information, documentation challenges, job changes, or difficulty navigating the process.
To address these challenges, IYRC NGO organised a PF Awareness & Support Camp in the Kapashera community, with the participation of the EPFO Nidhi team.
During the camp, 57 workers received guidance and support on PF-related processes, concerns, and the steps they can take to access their social security benefits.
For us, this was more than just a camp.
IYRC has been working closely with the Kapashera community for the past 9 years, standing alongside workers and families, listening to their concerns and supporting them in accessing documentation, social security schemes, entitlements, and other essential services.
In a worker community like Kapashera, access to the right information can make a real difference. Because when a worker understands their rights, they are better equipped to protect their hard-earned benefits and build greater security for themselves and their families.
We sincerely thank the EPFO Delhi South EPFO team for joining us in the community, engaging directly with workers, and supporting them with information and guidance.
