Empowering Minds Society for Research & Development

Empowering Minds Society for Research and Development (EM) was set up in the year 2007. In 2009, EM was registered under the Societies Registration Act.

The organisation has been working in Delhi and Uttar Pradesh since April, 2009. It has two community school in UP which provides formal and non-formal education to the out-of-school, drop outs and working children. In the short span of one and a half years, Empowering Minds has implemented various projects in the areas of: Gender Balance, health, formation of SHGs of women for poverty alleviation,

training programme for ICDS functionaries, research in the field of HIV/AIDS, baseline survey on child protection and rights and quality of life issues on Hemophilia etc.

Empowering Minds Children took part in Feeding India’s Holi celebrations - ‘Wanderland - an art competition’. The event celebrated creativity, imagination and self-expression among young minds. Our children got gifts and certificates in the event and they were very happy. 🤩
