Can planting a single seed today help create a future free from hunger and malnutrition?
The answer is yes. Every fruit tree planted today can provide nutritious food, support biodiversity, and strengthen communities for years to come.
Our District Programme Coordinator (DPC), Ms Rima Pande, led a Tree Plantation Initiative at Bathandanga ICDS Centre, Sarenga, Bankura, West Bengal, where Mango, Jackfruit, and Litchi seeds were planted to promote nutrition, environmental sustainability, and food security.
Fruit-bearing trees not only make our environment greener but also provide essential nutrients that help combat hunger and malnutrition in local communities.
🌳 How can you contribute?
• Plant fruit trees in your home, school, or community.
• Care for and protect young saplings.
• Encourage children to participate in plantation drives.
• Inspire others to take action for a greener, healthier future.
Every seed you plant today can become a source of nourishment tomorrow. Together, let's grow hope, one tree at a time.
